Guest El Satanico Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I'm having trouble playing some of my mpegs on my WMP version 7. The audio plays fine on all of them, but on some of them the video won't come up. The ones that aren't playing the video needs the following Video Codec "Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V3". Does anyone know where i can get that Codec from or will that one even work on WMP version 7?
Guest danielisthor Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Off the top, have you tried to download it from the Windows download page. I generally have a hard time getting visaulizations to play on the Windows media player.
Guest Eagan469 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 MPEG-4 files are DivX compressed. You can get a player for those files at DivX.com (download the adware bundle).
Guest El Satanico Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I already have Divx Player 2.0 Alpha. Is that the player you're referring to?
