Bret was on the wrong end of a steel chair shot (?) to the head and was forced into early retirement." ...?
Guest Downhome Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Yes, that is one reason he was taken out of action. The Goldber incident, among other types of in-ring trama to his head forced him to retire, it wasn't ONLY the Goldberg kick.

It was Goldberg's kick, Goldberg not knowing how to take a Figure Four on the ring post right, and something else....I'd think they could of just said something else but a chair shot?

A chair shot is what ultimately led to Bret retiring though, it isn't a lie what they say, it's true. After the Goldberg kick, Bret sustaind various other head trama, and that's that.

And this(Goldberg) is the guy who's so totally getting a WWE contract next week
