Guest Jobber of the Week Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 The racist angle involving Ron Killings in NWA:TNA that is seen on TV is far tamer than what is written originally. BG James was originally supposed to run down Killings saying he had a "black ass", with Killings calling James, Syxx and Hall "three honkeys" but both were edited out of the final PPV scripts. Just what it says... In addition, Sean Waltman felt that comments in his scripted interview designed to make Low Ki not seem like a top talent were not necessary. He didn’t think that any younger talent should be buried, especially since Low Ki was challenging for the NWA Title. Pardon me for saying this, but.... HOLY SHIT Someone go check the temperature in Hell. Please. It must be snowing in there right now. And finally... Vince Russo has not been happy with his interview scripts being rewritten and overruled by Jerry Jarrett, and has been visibly upset backstage. Nah nah nah nah, hey hey... All this news makes me want to order this week's replay. If the responses are positive, I'll have to give another look at this. Still, stranger things have happened.... I guess?
Guest the 1inch punch Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Thats uh...weird Wheres the real Sean Waltham
Guest Ravenbomb Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 see? I told...someone who doesn't visit this board...that time away from WWF would do Syxx-y some good
Guest El Satanico Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I guess not being around any of his friends with backstage power really has helped Waltman. I said he could be different without his friends, but i never really believed what i said.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Scott Hall is still there. Maybe, just maybe, after realizing the goose that he gave up and its golden eggs were really that good, he's gonna bust ass and try to get back in, I hope he doesnt, but if he thinks he can and really bust his ass, YEAH! He put over Low-Ki, that is beyond words. Hall vs Ki vs Syxx-Pac for the title sounds almost believeable and like a ratings winner, so long as Hall does minium work and Ki and Pac break out the old "A" game.
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 1, 2002 Report Posted November 1, 2002 see? I told...someone who doesn't visit this board...that time away from WWF would do Syxx-y some good isn't he just happier now that he is getting the push that he thinks he deserves.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 1, 2002 Report Posted November 1, 2002 If he's going to show up and actually work, then I'm all for the push. His WWE time gives him more name value than most of the roster, and results in a big reaction. He may have held the X title, but he didn't beat anyone to win it...and never beat Styles in 2 tries either. TNA wants to use him because people know who he is, PAc wants to be in the spotlight...It's working pretty good so far. And...on the Hall thing...Hall never had any stroke either, and does better away from Nash and HHH. The 1 day a week schedule is good for Hall, and the last couple weeks against JJ and Truth, he hasn't looked as bad as he has in the past. He's still not good...but he's the biggest name there. Good for him.
