Heel/Face Alignment

I watched tonight's show (my first one in about 2 months), and I found myself confused as to who was a face, and who was a heel (specifically in the main event/upper midcard scene). Here's what I *think* I've figured out, and please correct me if I'm wrong:

Face:

Scott Hall

BG James

Syxx-Pac

Curt Hennig

Jerry Lynn

Heel:

Ron Killings

Jeff Jarrett

AJ Styles

Brian Lawler

Now, some of them are easier to understand (Styles), but I found myself confused when trying to decide whether or not Hennig and X-Pac were heels or not (I think it's just because I'm used to their characters being heels), and it's hard to go by crowd reaction, as well as the fact that I'm unfamiliar with the product.

Anyway, thanks.

You think it was bad with the heel/face lines this week, you should have seen it a few months ago.

The lines have been drawn much better than they were before so I give them credit in that aspect.

Their were no heels and faces a few months ago.

The probem is this:

What the people in Nashville choose to cheer for and boo...may not work for the viewer at home.

JJ gets a huge pop most of the time...but no one outside of Tennessee is going to root for the guy.

So TNA got stuck for a while...and are now trying to sort it out.

IMO, James, Hall, 'Pac and Hennig act more like heels that anyone.

Well, this is how I decided who was who, pretty much:

AJ Styles, is a heel. After beating Syxx-Pac for the X-Title, he gave the belt to Lawler, who used it to attack Pac. BG James fought Lawler on the same show, making him a face (in my eyes, at least), and he is aligned with Hennig, making him a face by association. Hall is also aligned with James and Syxx-Pac, and fought Jarrett, who is (in my eyes, again) a heel. Jarrett is also feuding with Hennig, strengthening my beliefs that he is a heel. The Truth fought Hennig (a face), and, because of that, is a heel.

I will concede, though, that Syxx-Pac's character could very well be considered a heel, making out with April (and 'forcing' her to do it, to, according to April).

It's all very confusing to a casual viewer.

is Low-Ki a face? I only ordered 3 shows including Special X and I couldn't really tell. He attacked Lynn and Styles, but he still gets cheered. ???

I think Low Ki is just a tweener in the X-Division, he has no alignments..that I know of anyways...and when he attacked Lynn and Styles it was just showing the competiveness in the X-division.

Low Ki is a face, in that he gets face heat from the crowd...but that's it.

Also, he and Syxx Pac calling AJ a jerk.

Other than that...he hasn't really been written with a face attitude.

I think he could make a bad ass heel, personally.

What was really confusing was Brian Lawler's period the last couple of months where he was mad at Jarrett for some reason(which I never heard an explanation for, BTW) and was just yelling like the incoherent idiot he is. He's firmly a heel now, I THINK(damn Russo-ish shit). Butlike it was said before, it seems like Waltman's going to be the heel in the feud, which just makes it all the more confusing.
