I was one of the few to see Ed Wood in a movie theatre. I thoroughly enjoyed Ed Wood. Ed Wood is a great, great movie.

I have seen Death Race 2000 and for you to say that is one of the greatest movies ever made, even as intentional or unintentional camp, makes me question how much glue you sniff in a day.

 

And don't even get me started on what idiots most of you are. (Cool Hand Luke loses to the Crow?) But then again, this is all opinion and more to gauge favorite movies than what the best movie of all time is. So, I guess that means I can just say that some of you have no taste.

I am the only one pissed that Goodfellas would beat GWTW? Goodfellas barely makes the top 10 gangster movies I've ever seen, much less one of my faves.

Well I don't think it's so much that people don't like Death Race it's just that The Day The Earth Stood Still is better.

 

Damnit man Ed Wood is a great movie. I love EDII, but Ed Wood is better.

 

The Crow beating Cool Hand Luke isn't that bad. Crow was a good movie and while i like Cool Hand Luke it's not some amazing classic. It's not like The Crow beat Citizen Kane.

 

 

The only vote that truly bothered me was The Naked Gun beating The Night of The Hunter. The Naked Gun just isn't that good.

Cool Hand Luke is 20 times the classic the Crow will ever be...not to say I don't like the Crow...but C.H.L. is one of the best movies ever.

 

And I was bitter that Night of the Hunter lost, hell, I put it on the list. The problem with that, and Death Race is that most people haven't seen them...also put that one on the list, and Cool Hand...my movies got their asses kicked.

I didn't vote, because I hadn't seen half the movies, so I have no right to complain about any results. That being said, I'm happy to see that at least some of the movies I liked advanced, although I'm already going to assume the movie that wins will be one I have never seen.

 

Oh, by the way, godthedog, I recently found out 400 Blows is back in print on DVD from Fox Sorber. Should I pick it up (I have to get rid of some DVDs on a trade-in deal) or just rent it? What's it about anyway?

I did just check it...

 

The last place where I had my records was when it was at the 104 movie mark.

 

THe next time I checked the list it was at 161 I believe...so I made a post saying that after the 104 cut off the people would have to decided what else made the cut.

 

So after the first 104 people decided on what would round out the last 24 picks, no one said your movie, and you never chimed in after that to say it yourself.
