Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Since I don't think quite enough people dislike me yet... I decided to piss everyone off by pissing all over your favorite football teams. I present to you: The bps21 NFL Power Rankings Feedback encouraged. Oh...and your team probably sucks.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I don't these rankings seriously to begin with, so you didn't piss me off. "Take Slash out and the team finally looks good. XFL rules, and this proves it." GO TOMMY!!! I also cheer for Cortez of the 49ers because he was all but cut when training camp started, but he beat out a guy whose signing bonus was larger than Cortez's salary. And HOW THE HELL are the pathetic Cards 4-2?!...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Chiefs is spelled wrong. I know the Redskins suck. The Ravens should be higher than the Steelers and Patriots (patsies have lost 3 in a row and are on their way to the AFC East basement, just like I predicted!) Broncos are overated at #4 (Eagles should be ahead of them) Dolphins are way to low although they will play their way into earning a low spot soon enough.. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I spell the way I want too..!!!!! Anyway... I'm anticipating the fall of the Dolphins and Bucs for Offensive reasons. Besides...I couldn't rank them above any of the higher teams after the showing on Sunday. I think the Broncos are real good.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted October 24, 2002 GO TOMMY!!! I also cheer for Cortez of the 49ers because he was all but cut when training camp started, but he beat out a guy whose signing bonus was larger than Cortez's salary They drafted Jeff Chandler (rookie from Florida) because Cortez blew at the end of last year. Cortez started to heat up when the season rolled around, so they'll sit and wait with Chandler. And HOW THE HELL are the pathetic Cards 4-2?!... All the teams they've beaten this year ARE pathetic...Carolina, Seattle, Dallas and the Giants? Uggh.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Chiefs is spelled wrong. "That's great, but who are the Chefs?" Dolphins are way to low although they will play their way into earning a low spot soon enough.. They are going to stink for the next few weeks, though. Fiedler could not have gotten injured at a worse time.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I agree. Fiedler's injury along with the Jets sucking and the Pats meeting mediocrity again...leaves the East wide open. Be afraid of the Bills if their D can progress to being just plain bad.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I spell the way I want too..!!!!! Anyway... I'm anticipating the fall of the Dolphins and Bucs for Offensive reasons. Besides...I couldn't rank them above any of the higher teams after the showing on Sunday. I think the Broncos are real good. Yeah, the Broncos are real good alright. *Remebers them getting pasted by the Ravens a few weeks ago on Monday Night Football* Oh and the proof about my feelings on the Patsies from the Playoff prediction thread right before the season started.. I think the Jets and Dolphins will be in the playoffs from the AFC East. The Patriots will likely be a 7-9 team this year.. AND As for the Patriots, Im not sold on Tom Brady and I dont think the defense will be able to keep them in games like last year. The Patsies defense hasn't been able stop the other teams running game at all this year. Tom Brady looks like an overpaid average QB..which was all he was last year to start with. So I was off about the J-E-T-S SUCK SUCK SUCK, Pennington is doing a good job and they could be right back in the race in a few weeks..
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I know Cortez was getting kicks blocked at the end of the season, but he's an XFL guy and I cheer for him. "All the teams they've beaten this year ARE pathetic...Carolina, Seattle, Dallas and the Giants? Uggh." Yeah, but those teams are supposed to get WINS from AZ. Wait a sec. Jake Plum. is in the final year of his contract (I think) so of course AZ will go to the playoffs...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I want to start an ask bps21 thread...but I don't want to be accused of copying... anyway... I'm not sold on Brady either. At least not in the roll they are putting him in. I can't stand the way he pouts after every mistake either. It makes me want to smack him.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I should do one for other sports too. You've heard of the BCS rankings... Make way for the BPS rankings!!!!!!!
Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Without even seeing them the BPS rankings would make more sense than the BCS rankings. I guarantee it.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Well...I would put Miami at #1. But that's besides the point...
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 24, 2002 He's got my boys where they deserve to be, no problems with that. At the moment, New Orleans IS better than the Pack. We'll beat them in the NFC title game, but that's beside the point. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge EDIT: Because Bps was confused, "my boys" and "we" refer to Green Bay. Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted October 24, 2002 9. Dolphins (5-2) They would be higher, but Lucas has to start the next 4 games or so. That might not be so good *There's* an understatement. And the Bills suck.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted October 24, 2002 22. Cowboys (3-4) Maybe after Emmit gets the record they'll hand it to someone who can run the ball. I hear Quincy Carter may be available. 1. good defense 2. the special teams problem has been fixed as Knorr has be released 3. Emmit as Milton of Office Space rules.......You have my football The Vikings suck but the running game is starting to look good. Fear Mr. Redzone Moe Williams. This all part of the master plan to get the team to play in the Alamo Dome, it will happen oh yes it will happen. 1. Saints (6-1) Deuce and Brooks are awesome. Rest of team also good this must be making Red McCombs mad as the other car dealer of San Antonio is doing well.
Guest MD2020 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Can't really complain. You have my Eagles at #5, which I think is fair. I agree about the Saints being #1 right now, but will it last? Not sold on their defense so far.
Guest Y2BigJ Report post Posted October 24, 2002 This was pretty good. I think the Steeler's and the Pats should be switched, and for everyone who thinks the Pats are going to be in the AFC east basement I think they should wait untril this week's game, if they get smoked by Denver then they may be third place but no matter what the Jets are going to be in the basement. Guest RevEvil Report post Posted October 24, 2002 #3 ok with me
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted October 24, 2002 yeah, these aren't so bad. I think the Steelers and Ravens(?!) are too high, and the Pats too low. The're still a strong team, they just need to pull thier head out of thier ass and run. Hell, Charlie Garner gets more carries than Antowain Smith, the guy who single handedly dragged them to the Super Bowl last year. Also, I would put Denver at 1, because they rock ass as of current. I would pick them to beat Saints or Pack right now.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 My AFC East rankings are bound to be a little off because I am in an AFC East market. For the most part, I ranked teams based on where I currently see them... but in a few cases...I forecasted what I think will happen. For Example...Tampa is 5-2...but with Rob johnson playing they'll be lucky to beat Carolina. He's that bad. As far as the AFC East...The Dolphins will be lucky to go .500 with Lucas as QB...which will leave Fiedler with his work cut out for him when he gets back. They have off this week...then they get to play the Packers. The Pats have a tough game against Denver this week, and The Bills play the Lions at home. Those two teams could very well be (3-4) and (5-3) respectivley after this week. Then they play each other next week, in Buffalo. The Bills will be favored, and I thinkthat stadium is going to be rocking that day. If the Bills win the games they are supposed to the next two weeks...they'll be sitting pretty. Meanwhile the Pats will be falling, and the Dolphins backup will be playing a better team than the one that beat them pretty handily last week.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I pretty much agree with you. I think Tampa is too low, their team is based far more around their D than Buffalo was so I don't think Johnson will do as much damage. He probably won't last too long in the hard-hitting NFC anyways. The Steelers are two low. Ignore their record, they are awesome now. They are certainly better than the Colts or Cardinals, but you have them pretty much grouped around the same area so I'm not complaining too much. New Orleans, San Deigo & Green Bay are clearly the teams to beat, and Sherman probably should win Coach of the Year if the Pack continues to win. The Chiefs are a bit too low. Jacksonville is pretty much the bottom of the mediocre teams. Anyone below them on that list is dead in the water (Kansas is in a division where they will finish last). There are so many extremely bad teams this year. I don't see how you think people would be mad at this list. It's pretty accurate. EDIT: I'm a Pack fan, BTW. Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted October 25, 2002 number 30. at least we are better than the vikings
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 25, 2002 I would have put KC higher if I thought they had a prayer of catching the people in that division. Too many good teams in one place.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted October 25, 2002 Well, I think you were too harsh on Brady. His best target is injured (Brown) and Donald Hayes apparently used his playbook to level his couch. Brady was doing fine in the first three games, he's just going through a slump. You are right on about the run and run D though. I'd include all the stupid penalties too. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 25, 2002 If the Pats can turn it around they'll move up. But I don't like their chances against the Broncos this week...and I don't like their chances against Bledsoe in Buffalo the next. Remember...there is only one reason Bledsoe is playing so well this year. And he finally plays them in less than two weeks.
Guest goodolemr Report post Posted October 25, 2002 I really hope my Saints get the win over the Falcons this weekend. It would be great for them to go into their bye week 7-1. Bps, are you going to be doing these rankings on a weekly basis?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 25, 2002 I don't see why not. It gives me a chance to rip on who fucked up that week. And it doesn't take all that much effort...which I also like.
