Seasonal food and drinks

So, does anyone wait with baited breath for a certain time of year to gorge themselves on a food or drink available only around holidays? Personally, I drink gallons of Cider every fall.

Ever seen the movie called "The Stuff"? It's about this white substance that comes out of the ground that is extremely tasty, but controls your mind, body, and soul. I am convinced this is what mallow peeps are primarily composed of. Therefore I do not eat the cheerful sugary bastards.

Cadbury eggs on the other hand, look the fuck out, I'm ON it.

Never seen that movie, but that sounds about right.

Gotta be the original Cream Eggs. They've had caramel eggs for the past few years or so. I'm not very fond of those.

I absolutely love mincemeat pie, but I can almost never find it around here except around Christmas time.

Well, I love Christmastime for the egg nog of course. Also, Starbucks starts making yummy seasonal drinks around that time of year (egg nog latte, caramel apple cider).

I *hate* pumpkin pie. Yuck!

I rarely get to eat mashed potatoes & stuffing outside of Thanksgiving & Christmas, so I'll throw that into the "seasonal foods" listing for me.

Pumpkin pie, goose, egg nog, cadbury eggs, cider, and stuffing are all great seasonal foods.

I hate peeps. At Wrestlemania 16, we got about 5 boxes of the goddamn things, and I haven't felt as bad as I did the day after that night in a long time. Ugh. Goddamn peeps.

President's Choice makes this peppermint candycane-type ice cream at Christmas every year, and I can't get enough of it. If my parents buy it too early, they usually have to hide it, or else there will be none left for dessert after Christmas dinner. I could probably eat two whole tubs of that in one sitting if given the chance.

I love that stuff so much. In a way, though, I'm glad it's only available for a small part of the year, otherwise, it would lose it's 'specialness'.

Rum and Egg Nog RULES IT~!

Also, I love Easter, primarially because of the Cadbury Mini Eggs. I'd eat 2 pounds of those if you let me.
