well lots of people will want to see rock-hogan but the wm hype has been bad.

I think word is spreading to the casual audience so they should hit last years buy rate at least. Plus, even people who dont watch every week still check out Wrestlemania.

Last year's buyrate was the highest WM ever wasn't it? I don't think it can get that high.

I dont remeber if it was the highest (maybe someone has it out there). I think they could make that range though. I dont think it could be higher. The ratings were dropping around WMX7, and they did not have the advantage of having a brand new dream match to get casual fans to order it. The only thing I know for sure:

Vince will be looking closely at the official figures when they come back in three months or so.

Like him or not Hogan is a major factor in this year's buyrate.

Let me just add too that im not confident in the prediction. it could be way down and it wouldnt be a "major shock".

Well the buyrate is all about Rock/Hogan, I don't see any other match that could really attract a ton of buys.  HHH/Jericho certainly could on paper, but I don't like how they have handled the feud.
