Guest Brian Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 He just says he's useless because he's been booked to squash guys and got the title too early. It's all Brock's fault. He's really the one dating Steph you know.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 THAT face looks evil? It looks like a 14 year old boy who hasn't quite hit puberty. Oooh, but has muscles, so let's push his useless ass over the whole roster. lol I hardly consider him useless... just because he may not be as good as Angle doesn't put him in the "mark henry useless" category. Lesnar is talented, he just hasn't been put in there with anyone that can really "go" with him. I've seen some of his OVW stuff and he's really quite good, so reserve judgement until you see him in the ring with guys like Benoit and Angle or hell even Edge before you call him useless just because he can't carry Undertaker to a **** match I call him useless because he has had ONE good match in 7 months. Sure, he's had some bad opponents, but he has made the absolute WORST of every average/mediocre guy he has faced. You all say "Wait until he faces benoit!" What the FUCK is that going to prove? That Benoit can carry him? Wow. Benoit could carry ME. These matches are his trues tests. Can he get a good match out of Chuck? No. Matt Hardy? No. John Cena? Fuck no.

You're brainwashed into believing that wrestling is a one person affair... that it doesn't take two, but believe me, it does. I know some of you aren't far from believing that Benoit can walk on water and give sight back to the blind but come on! Brock has had several watchable matches. His series with Dudley may have not been on par with Flair/Steamboat, but they were watchable and were far from horrible.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 Again, Brock/Chuck was better than average -> good.
Guest thebigjig Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 Again, Brock/Chuck was better than average -> good. agreed, as was Brock/Orton
Guest Anglesault Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 Again, Brock/Chuck was better than average -> good. By what standards? I'd say that Austin/Angle and Vengeance is better than average, but not up to their standards, just south of really good. Do you think Brock/Chuck is on par with that match?
Guest kindredone Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 Well,it does look like they are startng to turn him Face...I just think they should hold off till atleast WM,that way the turn will mean more. Heyman will probably pull a swerve,Brock F5's Heyman,Brock becomes Face.
Guest BaldFish Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 I actually really liked the Brock/Cena match, from a storytelling standpoint--not so much as a wrestling match. Lesnar was out there to do his obligatory match, but his mind was elsewhere--he was constantly checking the ramp for Taker. Remember how Heyman kept looking at his watch, urging Lesnar to hurry things up? As I interpreted it, he was conserving his strength by just using the bearhug--in case Taker did a run-in. I thought it was very cleverly done, and it was actually one of my favorite Brock TV matches.
Guest Nater Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 Is it me or do.. certain people.. always turn Brock threads into Brock-Sucks threads?
