Guest Imarkout4chrisdaniels Report post Posted October 26, 2002 I missed the opening of Smackdown and have heard nothing about the trade since, but who was Big Show traded for? If no one has been named, who do you think it will be, or who would be a good choice?
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted October 26, 2002 No one yet...but I think they may make it Hogan.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 26, 2002 I think it'll be Hogan. He just doesn't fit in with the SD! "Wrestling" style. Although short term they could bring Rikishi over to piss me off.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted October 26, 2002 I think it'll be Hogan. He just doesn't fit in with the SD! "Wrestling" style. And BIG SHOW does?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 26, 2002 Obviously. He's getting the title shot. Big Show doesn't fit into the storyline RAW either. Because he doesn't make any sense when he talks. He just doesn't belong.

Guest MixxMaster Report post Posted October 26, 2002 No, I strongly feel that it will be John Cena. Or D-Von...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 26, 2002 Well...it's true. He isn't a good enough wrestler to have good matches on SD! and he isn't an interesting enough character to write an angle around on RAW.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted October 26, 2002 On Byte This!, Bischoff implied that it could be The Rock, which would make this the Jim Fregosi for Nolan Ryan of wrestling trades.
Guest Imarkout4chrisdaniels Report post Posted October 26, 2002 I understand they would want to add Hogan to Raw for a possible ratings ploy, and also because he is worthless to Smackdown, but it would be stretching it to think That Stephanie McMahon would trade Hogan for Big Show. The only thing I can think of would be Steph might think hod\gan is finished. I would still pay Hulk Hogan to be on my roster rather than add Big Show to it, but............. Rikishi belongs on Raw. Rubbing ass cheeks into other men's faces? That sounds like sportz entertainment to me.

Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Hmmmmmm..... I think that the Big Show was more than likely traded for Batista, since he's scheduled to debut on RAW soon. I like the idea of Hogan coming to RAW, and I think it might help ratings somewhat. Another possibility is that maybe Bischoff implies that the Big Show was traded for a superstar who signed with Smackdown, but has yet to make an appearance. Of course, I'm talking about Steiner. Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted October 27, 2002 It wouldn't surprise me to see Rikishi stinking up my monday nights as a result of the trade.
Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Batista was a free agent who had already signed with Raw, Jeff. As for who's being traded, my thought is Eddie. Raw needs heels, and although storyline-wise Eddie left Raw for being underappreciated, Bisch could just suck up to him or somesuch to make it work.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Hogan would make zero sense. Who does he have a beef with in Raw? I can only see H3 as Hogan's nemmsis. Who could he pair up with? Which leads me to think Hogan is a 2 match left deal...The Royal Rumble Brock-Hogan rematch...and the Hogan-McMahon WM Retirement match... Batisa was already being pimped on Raw for weeks...Signs point to a Midcarder such as Rikishi (whom is likely to be used for 3 man tags with Duds and BookerDust) John Cena (to throw in as compliment to Christicho)...Or a dark horse in Dvon to do the eventfull Dudley reunion...but that would kill the Simmons connection so never mind that... Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2002 I think none of the guys who showed up on SD should be the ones in the trade, it just doesn't make sense, does it? then again, that is what will happen
Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 27, 2002 after thinking about it...it HAS to be Rikishi. Remember that Bischoff is still pissed about the Stinkface and with this they can finally do the Samoan Gang.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Raw needs ratings. Hogan brings ratings. Get the picture? Hogan having sex with a corpse = even more ratings? Necrophilia running wild, brothuh!

Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Isn't Hogan a devout Christian or something...They could work with that...but why not with Jericho or Shawn then so..never mind...They really don't have much for Hogan except Promotional shit...which Foley was heading towards... Well, if he's a Christian, he's certainly not devout. Devout Christians don't go on national PPV and call something "sh*t" like he did at BATB 2000. Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 27, 2002 I recall Jericho saying he was strongly Christian and yet he made alot of cheap jokes about Stephanie and ran over a Dog and tried to overshine Jesus himself (H3)...What kind of Christian is that? Besides...Just because a Guy says "Shit" does not mean he isn't christian.
Guest ISportsFan Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Besides...Just because a Guy says "Shit" does not mean he isn't christian. I agree with that... But, it is typically not considered to be a good thing for a Christian to swear over a microphone in front of 2,000 people in an audience and 5 people on PPV. Plus, from the readings I've seen on the internet regarding Hogan throughout his wrestling career... he's not exactly the posterboy for niceness behind the scenes. I recall Jericho saying he was strongly Christian and yet he made alot of cheap jokes about Stephanie and ran over a Dog and tried to overshine Jesus himself (H3)...What kind of Christian is that? I'll ignore the pretty funny HHH joke and go for the serious answer. Jericho is an interesting case. He apparently said he's not religious on a Canadian TV show, which is OK for Christians. I'm not religious, but I'm Christian and I go to church and stuff. It's considered to be ok if you don't want to be religious but you want to have a personal and working relationship with God. I still go to church because it helps me grow in faith, but I'm not "religious" or "follow" the typicalness of stuff. As an outsider opinion that doesn't know the individual in question personally, it seems as if Jericho is misguided in his thinking. He apparently reads the Bible and stuff, but I don't know if he really understands what he is reading. I hope he does, but his actions don't indicate he does. The Bible clearly says that the easiest way to tell the true Christians from the phony ones that just say they are Christians is their attitude and their actions. So, by what I have seen, I cannot say that Jericho is a Christian. I hope he is, I really do, but it doesn't appear to be that way. Jason
Guest Pop Culture God Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Maven is about a fair trade for Show. I got a feeling it was someone like Edge, an upper midcarder since in the WWE writer's eyes he is a main-eventer.
