Guest Flyboy Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 This is the thread for all the games that will take place tomorrow. I hope Brooks blows his cousin out of the water on offense because the Saints' defense isn't that dandy. Discuss upcoming games and such.
Guest El Satanico Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Well luckily for the Saints secondary Atlanta has no real weapons outside of Vick in the passing game. If the front 7 can at least somewhat contain Vick's running they should be able to get the win.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 The Saints could barely hold Hurst last week... that's what bothers me.
Guest El Satanico Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Well Hearst has been killing everyone lately and San Francisco has a passing game that you have to respect. With Atlanta they can focus on the running more.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 True... they don't have to worry about WRs like Owens, so their FSs and SSs can be free. All this football talk... must play Madden 2003 Franchise.
Guest razazteca Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Cowboys are playing the Seahawks who have let several teams run all over them, all the hype is on Emmit get the record but I doubt that will happen this week as he averages 50 yards a game. Will the new Cowboys QB be any better than the Bengals QBs? Can the Cowboys kick a simple PAT and will they fail again when they try a trick play? The past shows that when the Coslett trys a trick play the team screws it up as is the case with the option pass and fake punt.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Damn Fox... Instead of seeing Saints/Falcons, I get Cowboys/Seahawks. Fuck you, Fox. And you too, Emmitt.
Guest bravesfan Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 All's I got to say is, after today... 49ERS=1st Place NFC West, BAYBEE~!
Guest Flyboy Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 49ers? The team who let the SAINTS~! come back on them last Sunday? ... Nobodies.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 PH33R TH3 C4RD1N4LZ, Y0~! And I've got a real dilemma - watch Game 7 of the World Series or watch Spurrier fall flat on his ass again? Marty Schottenheimer - 14-4 in his last 18 games. LUNATIC - When I'm too drunk to walk, I rock a party on crutches.
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Battle of N'awlins is going to be one helluva game, and at the same time you get a hard-hitting clash in Baltimore and a shoot out with Raaaidas and Chiefs. And at four o' clock you can cozy up for Broncos versus Pats. I'm hoping Vick just tears the Saints apart. I know they've beaten everybody, but I just have a feeling like they're just waiting to implode. Maybe I'm just stupid or something. Solid day of action, and since this isn't what we call a solid Sunday Night game, I'm ready for another World Series class.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 This Tate guy for the Ravens sucks, and right now the Ravens are sucking as well..
Guest razazteca Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 The new Cowboys QB Chad Hutchinson is struggling against the Seahawks as he throws the ball low, or rolls out bootleg into coverage, not looking good. Bengals 14-0 whats going on there are they going to get their 1st win?????
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Tommy Maddox was 11-11 and smoking the Ravens, but he almost fumbled..damn tuck rule..
Guest razazteca Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Trent Dilfer out with torn achilles Moe Williams scored again!!!!!!!!!! This Viking has to be the #1 RB Specialist in the league.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Bengals 14-0 whats going on there are they going to get their 1st win????? Of course, that's why I picked them.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Buffalo is struggling with Detroit, but they just tied it (TD Peerless Price).
Guest Kingpk Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Jets: BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Herman Edwards will be the 1st coach fired this season. Bengals choked, as usual.
Guest razazteca Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Emmit gets the record but the Cowboys lose Titans win with the return of Derrick Mason as had 2 TDs and 89 yards
Guest D'Lo White Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 How the hell did the Jets lose that game? At halftime I actually thought they could make a run for the playoffs.
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Ohhhh baby. Reasons Number 456 And 457 why NFL Sunday Ticket Owns All: * Seeing Emmitt break the all-time record live * The Falcons/Saints game, which was just awesome. They play again in three weeks, methinks, so if it's not your game at your home, go find a sports bar and watch it. Those boys can put on a show. Fox had their "A-Team", which I don't think is all that hot, covering Tampa Bay and Carolina. Wha!? That was probably one of the worst games of the season, when you've got a consensus game of the week going on down in N'awlins. Whatever. At least Cris Collinsworth wasn't on to ruin my viewing experience.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 What the hell was all that talk about the Saints being the best team in the NFL? What the hell is up in Oakland? Why in a battle of two bad teams does the worst team win (Minnesota over Chicago)? How could the Jets blow a 21 pt lead to the Brownies??? How does Cincy almost beat the Titans? UGH
Guest Kingpk Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Hoo boy, looks like we're in for another long day in Foxboro.
Guest D'Lo White Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Good, the Pats gonna keep the Jets company at the bottom of the division.
Guest cartman Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Is it a "Sin" to bet money with someone hoping your favorite team to lose? Cause I feel dirty betting against my Pats...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 You made the smart bet. Brady's 54 yards passing in the first half should give you confidence.
Guest cartman Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Oh I have been very confident that my Pats would lose...but I feel shitty using that to my personal gain...them being my fav. team an all lol.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Is Indy *ever* going to get a defense? Shane Matthews is beating them. Sad, sad, sad. A big "Booo" to Fox. Instead of NO/Atl, we got the Dallas/Seattle barn-burner. ::laughs at the Jets::
