Guest converge241 Report post Posted March 2, 2002 With the new division you also can know who 14 of the opponents will be for the next however may years cause its on a set rotation say youre a patriots fan every year 6 division games 4 games against the north, next year the south, year fater the west. 4 games against nfc division rotating then the last two games against the same position team from the two other same confrence divisions this year the pats would play pittsburgh and tennessee (the titans had the best record of that new division). If someone was a fan of the Giants and The Browns, they are guaranteed to see them play every 4 years. Much better than the old system when you never knew when certain teams would have the chance to face off
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted March 3, 2002 What about the playoffs? Will there only be two wildcard spots in each conference?
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 3, 2002 As far as I know, yes. With the two divisional winners that don't get byes, hosting Wild Card games.
