Guest godthedog Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 i think the new establishment members should be decided by a single elimination deathmatch tournament among me, loosecannon, evenflow, fletch, AM, and the others, and not some pansy ass voting crap.
Guest Banky Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Consider me out of this lame-ass Establishment tournie. Its brining out the cattiness in all of these pussy bitch posters. Fuck it, I don't want or need it. So don't pick me. But of course, I'll chime in with who I think deserves it. I'll see through all the bullshit sucking up, and ridiculous whining.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Did somebody say Deathmatch?
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 *listens to "Know Your Onion!" then follows it up with a little Bash & Pop...

Guest Sandman9000 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Well, this party has turned into another thread where we all assault each other and no-sell everything. I love it. ::Smashes lightbulbs over LooseCannon::

Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 True. Posting a thread about Saliva is a bad idea to begin with because most of the more intelligent people who frequent there listen to relatively obscure music. The metalheads hate nu metal and the indie people dislike all of that stuff on principle. It's a no-win situation. Actually, is that Saliva thread the only thing we've ever all agreed on? Imagine that. DJ Jeff's stupid ass, bringing metalheads and indie rock fans together. At least that proves we've all got some sense.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 ::stands in the background and watches the idiots kill each other::
Guest evenflowDDT Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Man, if I listened to the music my dad liked when I was growing up...I'd be screwed. There isn't a whole lot of Night Ranger material out there. Sure there is... there are county fairs in Texas, right? You can probably see Cheap Trick on the same classic rock has-been bill
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I said I'd vote for you...if you showed any interest. It'll be close between you, LooseCannon and Evenflow.

You can probably see Cheap Trick on the same classic rock has-been bill Well, I've been to see Joe Walsh, Huey Lewis, REO Speedwagon, and Santana at relatively small festivals over the course of my life. This was pre-Supernatural Santana, mind you; long before everyone was pretending to like him again. The county fair thing must be reserved for people in larger markets. I've never seen anyone but shitty local cover bands at one of those. On are related note, I remember the early Kilborn-era "Daily Show" doing a thing called Jurassic Rock where they'd show tour dates for washed-up old bands. It was pretty funny seeing some of the venues Foghat and their ilk are reduced to playing. Dairy festivals and things like that.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I said I'd vote for you...if you showed any interest. It'll be close between you, LooseCannon and Evenflow. ::Spits Water:: Unlike some people, **CoughBobBarronCough** I don't beg for votes. Plus, I wasn't on all weekend so this is the first time I've seen this tread. btw, I saw Foghat 2 years ago and they still kick ass. Blue Öyster Cult I've seen 4 times and they still put on a damn good show.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 off topic: that white leather title fucking rules.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Surely you can use an Established Prep. I write kickass matchups for OAOAST. And everyone loves Saved By The Bell, so there's another reason.
Guest T®ITEC Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Plus, Zack's sub-name involves Kool-Aid.
