Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted October 27, 2002 You know I was thinking about how much the Saliva song "Always" relates to us and the WWE. It has all these hidden meanings I'm probably looking to deeply into but I mean it's kinda ironic I can find all of these things in this song and they're using it for Survivor Series. Look at some of these lyrics: "I hear a voice say "Don't be so blind" It's telling me all these things That you would probably hide" Internet new sites are always telling us things that the WWE is trying to hide by having there wrestlers coming out and telling us they're untrue and discrediting the news sites. Yet they tell us things that are obvious to us if you just think. "Am I your one and only desire Am I the reason you breathe Or am I the reason you cry" Well.....are we the WWE's only desire? They want to make money and we will give it to them. We are the reason they live and breathe yet we are also the reason they cry. Because we may not give them that money thus making them lose it. "Always, always, always Always, always, always, always I just can't live without you" Many internet fans state that well we'll always be fans and a lot of us can't live without our wrestling dose no matter how crappy. "I love you, I hate you I can't live without you I breathe you, I taste you I can't live without you" We love the WWE yet we hate it for all of it's stupid decisions. "I just can't take anymore This life of solitude I guess that I'm out the door And now I'm done with you" A lot of us just can't take this horrible TV so we're leaving and are done with the WWE. "I feel like you don't want me around I guess I'll pack all my things I guess I'll see you around Inside it bottles up Until now, as I walk out your door All I hear is the sound:" Well it does seem like they don't want us around with these horrible angles. They are making no effort to keep us around so we are just packing our things and moving on to something better. "Always, always, always Always, always, always, always I just can't live without you I love you, I hate you I can't live without you I breathe you, I taste you I can't live without you I just can't take anymore This life of solitude I guess that I'm out the door And now I'm done with you I love you, I hate you I can't live without you" We've discussed the chorus. I left my head around your heart Why would you tear my world apart" A lot of us have put our heart into being wrestling fans and now the WWE is repaying us by tearing this world of fandom apart with there horrible TV. "Always, always, always, always" But I'll always be a fan.... "I see the blood all over your hands Does it make you feel more like a man Was it all just a part of your plan This pistol's shakin' in my hands And all I hear is the sound:" They have all of the blood of there crimes against wrestlers of the past(bret hart, owen hart, the hart family etc.) and the blood of there fans on there hands and it seems to make them feel better to tell us off and to treat other people like shit. "I love you, I hate you I can't live without you I breathe you, I taste you I can't live without you I just can't take anymore This life of solitude I guess that I'm out the door And now I'm done with you I love you, I hate you I can't live without you I love you, I hate you I can't live without you I just can't take anymore This life of solitude I pick myself off the floor And now I'm done with you Always Always Always" Once again been discussed. But is this not ironic? All of these lyrics seem to relate to us the fans and the WWE in some way. And they're using this for Survivor Series which seems to be the culmination of all of there stupid ideas and pissing on the fans with these storylines. I dunno......do you interpret the lyrics different than me?
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 27, 2002 I don't know about the lyrics relating to the fans and the WWE, but the song kicks ass.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Yeah I'm probably reading to deep into it but wait I'm not. It's not like I thought to hard about it. I was just sitting here listening to the song and it just started to hit me hearing the lyrics. Just think about it.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Damaramu, please go outside and take a deep breath before you kill someone. Thanks. In all seriousness...after listening to this song again, what you posted is so true it's weird. Great post.

Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Strange that we're discussing the appropriateness of a PPV theme song and once again, it's Survivor Series. Anyone remember last year? Puddle of Mudd's "Control." Of course, there was a certain element of logic in that, because SurSer was for control of the wrestling world, but if you listen to THOSE lyrics, I think you'll hear about a very different type of 'control.' "I love the way you smack my ass...." <shudders> Well, I bet Bradshaw loves that PPV intro.
