Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted October 28, 2002 On Velocity they had a couple and on Heat they have had a couple this weekend. I haven't seen that many on WWE shows since like...ever. Last few years There are only Main wrestlers...the Steve Lombardi's and Iron Mike Sharps and the Tony Garea's became the thing of the past. Â I believe old school methods were better, if you showcase your main wrestlers, then pit them against local indi's and make them look good... Â JTTS are over midcarders who are viewed with credibility, but not as main eventers. Scott Hall was a perennial JTTS, either in WCW or WWF (although you might expect him to win the title in WCW). Â A JTTS is a guy who gets no push and can only beat jobbers, and maybe another JTTS once in a great while. Typically they would get sacrificed to whatever new guy was getting a push. Koko B. Ware, Virgil, Skinner, Hercules, Aldo Montoya are some classic examples. Â A contemporary JTTS could be someone like, say, Crash Holly, or D-Lo, but really the term is not as applicable anymore, since the phenomenon of the 'jobber match' is all but dead. As the OP notes, maybe it's coming back but I sure don't watch Heat or Velocity so I couldn't tell you.
