Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I was watching Heat tonight, and it got me thinking..... My Idea: You build this wickedy-whack (excuse the early-90's Joey Lawrence-style rap reference) cage which would be 100 different kinds of cool. Then, you take 5 guys from Raw that you don't have a storyline plan for (like a Jeff Hardy, not a Mark Jindrak), and put them against 5 guys who Heyman doesn't have a plan for on Smackdown (I know Bisch said he wanted this Raw match to blow away Smackdown, but they don't pay attention to detail, so why should I?). You can either do the War Games-style entry, or have everyone in there at once. If you get pinned or made submit, you are "eliminated" from your brand and have to go join the other side. But, if you win the match for the team, you get a shot at your side's World Champ either the next night or at the next PPV. There could be a thousand different directions in this, like Bischoff putting Rosie & Jamal in it, telling them to lose so that they can destroy everyone on Smackdown so that they don't have anyone to run a "brand" with, or a heel and a face on the same team either feuding over who will get the final win for the title shot, or who's "captain". So, how's that?
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 or they can tie into the 'extreme extension' where HHH, Flair and Steiner form a White Power heel group to 'cleanse the WWE of the non-Nordics'. You know they might.. we hope they won't
Guest Nater Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Well, figure out who wont be in the match.. Raw: HHH Kane Jericho Christian SD!: Brock Show Angle Benoit So, who I'd like to see.. Raw: Booker Goldust Hurricane Bradshaw Rico SD!: Matt Tajiri DVon Ron Its classic heel vs face, its got the interesting dynamic of former partners, and I'd say the teams would be pretty balanced with talent and hoss-factor. You cant avoid the factor in wwe
Guest The Tino Standard Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I like the idea, but I don't think your going to see any Smackdown people in this match. The whole point is for Bischoff to trump last month's HIAC... That would be hard if he needs to include the Smackdown people in the match.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I'm GUESSING it may be like The Bowery Death Match at Slamboree 1998. A steel cage w/ a roof w/ 2 garbage cans full of weapons at opposite corners. Have 2 teams of 4-5. 1 man from each team start, every 3 minutes (get it?) thereafter 1 man from each team come in (doors at opposite corner). Elimination can occur at any time via pinfall/submission. Match continues until one team is all gone.
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 and it will be the D'Lo Brown/Raven blowoff match!
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 One can only wish . . . can you imagine the b-roll before that match? HeAT 11 weeks ago . . . D-Lo and Raven go at it at broadcast booth. HeAT 9 weeks ago . . . Raven cuts badass promo on D-Lo Brown HeAT 8 weeks ago . . . D-Lo defeats Raven's one-night lackey Johnny the Bull HeAT 7 we . . . ahh you get the idea. I'm still waiting for The D-Lo Brown vs. Raven Anthology 2-DVD set.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 That's what I was thinking this Elimination Chamber would be like. Here's what I think the teams would be, though: RAW Rob Van Dam Bubba Ray William Regal Test Lance Storm Smackdown Rey Mysterio Rikishi The Big Show Matt Hardy D-Von
Guest D'Lo White Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Hey D'Lo/Raven was feud of the year. I'm still waiting to find out if D'Lo cheated on his accounting exam. We must know the truth!
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted October 29, 2002 Report Posted October 29, 2002 I like the idea, but I don't think your going to see any Smackdown people in this match. The whole point is for Bischoff to trump last month's HIAC... That would be hard if he needs to include the Smackdown people in the match. Like I said in the original post, they don't pay attention to detail, so why should we?
