Guest MichaelColeRulez Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 This will happen, Steiner will be in the crowd and will interupt, Jeff Hardy or Spike match and then cut a promo, basically talking about his past and his plans. The same night, HHH and Kane's feud will finish, you can picture the finish. The next week, Steiner will hit HHH with a pipe, thus setting up for their match. The match will be the main event of the show, since I don't see the N.Y.C crowd being happy with a Brock/Show main event match. Steiner and HHH will have a alright match and then will get hit with the Hammer of doom and win the match. The feud will continue until HHH get tired of the feud and then put the final nail to the coffin and squash him. I'm happy that Steiner is coming in but it will fail. Why? HHH.The reason, so that HHH can steal Steiners heat and make HHH look more stronger. Believe me, I do not want this to happen, but with all the failures and bad angles that have made Ole and Dusty look like genius', I do believe that Steiner will flop.
Guest CanadianChick Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I hope Steiner does flop. The reason I hope for this is because I do not like Steiner at all. Also, I hope Vince doesn't think that this will be a quick fix to all of his problems.
Guest godthedog Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 steiner won't flop, no way. within seconds, he'll have the entire crowd mesmermized by his chiseled physique.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 And MAD MIC SKILZZZZ~!~!~1~!~!~!~~~!~
Guest godthedog Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 and all his freaks. can't forget the freaks. god, scott steiner is so easy to make fun of.
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Maybe he'll be set up to main event vs. HHH after beating Jericho in a feud, culminating in a "beard vs. goatee" match.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I hope that doesn't happen. I'm looking forward to Steiner coming to the WWE, and I really hope Vince doesn't fuck it up in anyway. Oh, and just for the record, I doubt Steiner will debut before the Survivor Series, since he isn't scheduled to work a full-time schedule until mid-December.
Guest Banky Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Wow, smarks already getting pessimistic about a re-debuting star. This will NOT be a fun time in this folder.

Guest Paranoid Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Scotty Boy will go far. Vince isn't going to fuck this one up, I hope! He does need to feud with Trips though. The biggest steriod users in the biz. That's a marketers dream!

Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Im all for steiner shooting on HHH and busting out the screwdriver.
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Im all for steiner shooting on HHH and busting out the screwdriver. You and almost everyone on this board.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Given the current state of Raw storylines, it would make sense for Steiner to debut as a hired gun for HHH. Of course this would leave the WWE with two top tier heels and zero top tier faces on their Monday night show.
Guest buffybeast Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I don't think Steiner will fail in the WWF is he can manage to stay healthy. That is the key. Steiner has a fucked up body from years of wrestling and probable steroid abuse. If he can stay injury free, then he should go far. I hope they let him come out and speak his piece freely on the mic. He is so hilarious.
Guest Nater Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Isnt he semi-crippled? Like near the lines of Shawn? Man, this guy is gonna get hurt and everybody is gonna be suprised except for ME. I'm gonna jump up and shout "That fucking genetic freak didnt get lucky on Bone Structure now did he!!"

Guest Nater Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I guess that I need to put in loads and loads of smileys to get my point across that it was humor? I do think its too early to judge his performance, but seeing as he has a history of being injury-prone we cant expect too many stellar matches right off the bat. I did enjoy his last run in WCW, specially when he shot on DDP.. but I dont see him being able to swing that and all his ragaholism and get away with it in WWE.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 He's Big! No wait, He's huge! He has tons of Charisma. He can cut a pretty decent Promo. He has a good fan following. But most of all, he works a slow, power house, type of Main Event Style. In Other Words, Vince may have a new "Favorite Toy." Steiner Will do just fine, IF he stays healthy.
Guest Mad Dog Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 I could go for a Booker T/Steiner feud. They put on good matches in WCW. Even the one on the final Nitro was pretty good considering how injured Steiner was. But I think he's just going to get fed to HHH's ego.
Guest notJames Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Im all for steiner shooting on HHH and busting out the screwdriver. Only if it leads to him getting fired afterward. Two birds with one stone.
Guest evilhomer Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Given the current state of Raw storylines, it would make sense for Steiner to debut as a hired gun for HHH. Of course this would leave the WWE with two top tier heels and zero top tier faces on their Monday night show. That would actually be a good way to bring him in. Have the two of them totally dominate, leading to Steiner eventually turning on HHH for holding him back. Of course the problems with that are as you said, no top faces for them to square off against and HHH would have to look weak enough to have to bring someone in to help him. Pardon me if I don't hold my breath waiting for him to do that.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Could he do any worse than Kevin Nash, tearing his quad in his first match? I say if he gets through one match he'll be alright.. Of course he could always trip as he debuts ala the Shockmaster..
Guest humongous2002 Posted October 29, 2002 Report Posted October 29, 2002 Steiner wont bring ratings (if that's what Vince is looking for) they just brought him in to job to Gonzo on steroids. I remember 1998 when there was no HBK, no Bret Hart, Diesel and Razor were on another show and Vince did what other company that was struggling would do ..... he elevated new talent. The talent he had then was nothing compared to the talent he has now and b/c of politics he is burying his own company to the ground, spending all this money on all this former superstars will bring ratings momentarily but it shouldn't be a long term goal.

Man, you conspiracy theorists never give up, do you? Seriously, if you care that much - stop paying attention to it. Or better yet, go get laid. I'm sure there are more important things in your life to worry about than whether or not HHH will "steal Scott Steiner's" heat. (Yeah, what heat? Steiner's heat of being off TV for over a year?)
Guest Trivia247 Posted October 29, 2002 Report Posted October 29, 2002 If HHH does achieve in looking "Stronger" than a guy who looks so Roided up he is about to burst...then someone is wrong with the perception and suspension of disbelief. "Uh Vince, Steiner Can't Gorilla press me. Why? Uhh Because I screw your daughter, and that alone takes Great strength more than him."
