Plus, look at how Misawa bumps, 99% of the time, he has a forearm down on the mat first and rolls off it, with he's head not even touching the mat. When you know a head drop is coming, you're willing, work with it and the opp protects you, the risks are far lower. As Ace pointed out. Yes, this applies to the bumps that are really taken on the neck/head.
