The Greatest European Champion so far...

I know it doesn't have a very prestigious history behind it, but there have been some good European champions.  I say D-Lo.  He seemed to take pride in being the champion.  I loved when he would hail from different countires and the videos he made in European countries.  Plus he had a great fued with X-Pac(before X-Pac became the shit that he is now).  Who do you think is the best?

I say D-Lo. The belt pretty much sucks now, but D-Lo made it mean something.

D-lo because they actually pushed him as the Euro. Champ and had a coherant storyline going while he was champ.  He had pride in the title which Christian tried to emulate during his reign.

I think the only time it was entertaining was the 1st title match of Owen vs Bulldog.  The only other time it was worth watching was D-Lo Brown vs DX crybaby.  After this feud it became useless.

Davey Boy, just because the match with Owen was great and it was created for him after all. Eddie Guerrero was the best of more recent champs.

Eddie is right behind D-Lo as best Euro champ. Oddly enough, Bulldog never did much with the title. Even though it was created just for him.

D'Lo was good as euro champ, I loved the gimmick about being from a different city each week. I also liked Mideon getting the belt out of the trash and being champ too.

Mideon did not get the belt from the trash...

 

MIDEON: "Shane?"

SHANE: "Yeah?"

MIDEON: "Can I wear that belt in your bag?"

SHANE: "Yeah, sure."

 

or it went something like that...Mideon asked if he could wear the belt that was in Shane's bag...Shane said yes...all of a sudden Mideon had the Euro title.

 

D-lo was the best though...no question

Though there have certainly been better wrestlers who won the Euro title -- Angle, HHH, Shawn Michaels, Guerrero, Jarrett -- the best title reign(s) belonged to D'Lo.

I voted for Bulldog because I am a mark for him and also because he had to win the tourney.  Had the great match with Owen (which I need a tape of).  D'Lo is a joke, I can't vote for him despite his amusing run.
