Guest whatitistoburn Report post Posted March 3, 2002 I was thinking about this, and this is a rough how I would book the NWO story line to it's conclusion: Note: No roster split in this timeline. Wrestlemania: Triple H beats Jericho. Austin over Hall. Hogan over Rock due to outside interference. In a segment, Nwo beat down a returning Benoit. In between PPVs: Nwo generally run amok. Get rid of the dumb skits and other stupid junk. Backlash: Triple H over Angle. Rock over Nash. In between PPVs: Flair, tired of all the NWO junk, makes a 5 on 5 match for Judgement Day. McMahon gets Angle/Undertaker to join up with them. WWF team consists of HHH/Austin/Rock/Kane/Benoit (now fully healed). Jericho takes on a returning X pac. Judgement Day: In the finish of the match, HHH lays out the Rock and Austin with the belt, signalling his jump to the NWO. After the match, NWO turn on Angle/Undertaker. X-pac joins in the beatdown. Xpac cheats to win over Jericho. In between: The NWO continue to wreck havok on the wwf superstars. In an effort to bring the title back to the WWF, the King of the Ring tourny is used to see who will get a title shot with HHH at Summerslam. Brackets: Rock vs Nash. Hogan vs Kane. Austin vs Xpac. Angle vs Hall. King of the Ring: Rock over Nash. Hogan over Kane. Austin over Xpac. Angle over Hall. Rock over Hogan. Angle over Austin. Rock over Angle. Inbetween: Start the build up for Rock vs HHH. Start storylines for Summerslam, using fully loaded as the buildup. NWO tries to take out the Rock. Austin starts to chase after Hogan. Fully Loaded: Rock over the outsiders. After the match, the NWO attack. WWF guys come out to help the Rock. Flair walks down to help out, but ends up getting attack from behind by Eric Biscoff. Inbetween: McMahon hands overcommand of the NWO forces to Biscoff. WWF guys start to think up ways to end the fued. On a segment of Raw, they do a vid of the best of the NWO/WCW from the Monday night wars. Among the clips: Halls first appearance, Rey Mysterio becomes a human dart, Biscoffs comments on Foley not being able to put asses in the seats. Summerslam. Rock beats HHH for the title. Austin beats Hogan. Inbetween: Hogan cuts a promo; in it he mentions being a real american. Angle comes out and talks about how HE is the real american. They set up a match for Unforgiven. During an NWO promo, they talk about how they may have lost the battles at Summerslam, but they will win the war. Flair comes out and stands at the top of the ramp. Says if it's war they want, he's got just the thing for them. He offers Biscoff his 50% of the WWF vs the NWO's breakup. Biscoff says he'll be in for any match Flair throws at them if that's what he's willing to offer. Flair accepts and announces at Unforgiven: 5 on 5 WARGAMES match. Biscoff asks how it could be 5 on 5 when the NWO only has 5 wrestlers and 1 of them already has a match. Flair says Biscoff will be the 5th member. With that, the is joined onstage by the WWF team: Rock/Austin/Undertaker/Kane/Beniot. On the raw before Unforgiven, NWO jumps Rock, thus taking him out of the match. On the Smackdown before, team WWF talks about how will replace him. Rock leaves them a message that we don't hear. Afterwords, in another conversation we don't hear, they confirm they've found a 5th member to be revealed at the PPV. Unforgiven: Semimain: Angle comes out to Hogan's real american music. Angle beats Hogan. Wargames Match: Heels win the toss as usual. Cut to the 5 on 4 portion. Everyone is squared off one on one, with Biscoff hiding off to the side in ring 2, with Benoit/X-pac. Benoit tosses X, goes after Biscoff. He gets him in the crossface. Biscoff taps but since it isn't the match beyond, the match continues. Xpac finally gets Benoit off him and tosses him. Biscoff gets up and shoves Xpac, then gets in his face for taking so long. After yelling at him for 30 seconds, Xpac shoves Biscoff into the corner then spin kicks him, thus getting his revenge for the Fed-Ex fire from WCW. He goes for the Broncobuster, but Biscoff throws powder in his eyes. As he gets up to gloat over Xpac, the 5th persons music hits. Cue to car crash noises. And out walks Mick Foley. He runs down to the cage and gets in, going after Biscoff. The Match Beyond: Ring 1: Xpac/Benoit/Austin/Taker/Kane keep HHH/Hall/Nash from getting to ring 2. Ring 2: After a Xpac spin kick to keep him from running, Foley destroys Biscoff. For the last time, he pulls out Socko to a huge pop. Biscoff taps. And by the grace of god, goes the NWO.
