HOOLIGANS-The Fight Clubs-3 Specials on 1 tape

 

First is a 38 minute "Hooligans" video, narrated by Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, which is a high powered Soccer Riots Greatest Hits. I gave a copy to a friend who is a head high school football coach. He's been showing it to his team all week to wake them up.

 

Next is a 2 part Ch 4 (UK) documentary,

"The Fight Clubs", which shows the sociological history of the clubs, the fashions, and the cat and mouse games played by the firms and the police over the last quarter of a century. The history plays like a great movie script.

Especially when the warring firms are forced to join together against the police, and foreign fans, on overseas jaunts.

 

Finally is a 2001 BBC hidden camera special about the hooligans.

The earlier 2 part documentary implied that the police had gotten the upper hand now. This special quickly dispels that myth. The footage is in your face.

 

All 3 of these specials have an energy that pro wrestling can't touch lately.
