Ernest Miller and Rico would be the greatest TAG TEAM COMBINATION ever, so of course it won't happen.

The Cat wouldn't be the biggest addition to RAW, but he sure was VINTAGE Nitro material, and just about anything non-WWE right now would get some attention from me. Damn, I just wish WCW was still around....

Speaking of which, how bad was old Nitro compared to recent Raws?

I'd love to see the Cat in some sort of speaking/announcing/managing role, he's gold on the mic.

Unfortunately he sucks in the ring, but that means he'd fit in with most of the current WWE roster just fine.

He's tight with Bischoff that's probably how he got a try out. They said they are loking for ew announcers if he was allowed to get a try out and work his character I think he would be funny. I also agree that he and Ric o together would be gold. That could be a Tag Team and Rico could play Ricky Morton and then The Cat could come in and throw osme kick. Why not?

Fuck Ernest Miller! He's Crap in the ring!

If they need someone who is good on the mic (And I think "The Cat" is highly overrated) Then they should have kept Mike Sanders around.

Sanders & Rico! Now, that's a great Tag Team!

ARGH i hate this fuck. He was *so* bad at wrestling. and i didn't really care for his 'mic skills' either.

Ahhh, the evils of nepotism strike again. Thanks, Bischoff. You've confirmed once again why I hate you so much.

Nitro was far more entertaining*, especially as 2000 continued.

* = I am a total WCW mark.

Oh man, this is great news for me. Out of my three personal favorite funny moments in wrestling, Earnest Miller is in two of them.

1.) Bryan Adams (talking to Scott Norton): "Yo, Scott.. the Cat's out there calling you out again."

Scott Norton: "What!"

(This is the re-match from the previous match Nortan & Miller had the week before on Nitro. The match where Scott Norton chopped The Cat so hard that he busted the blood vessels in his chest.. leaving his hand print a week later.)

2.) The Cat: "I'll go get my gi and whoop everybody in here!"

It then went to commercial break, and when it came back, it actually showed the Cat at his car in the back getting out his gi. I was lmao.

And just for the record, my third favorite moment is when Oklahoma kept yelling "Pinata!" during the cruiserweight BBQ on a pole match, or whatever it was. All I know is it had a pinata in it, and a bunch of mexicans swinging at it, with Oklahoma screaming Pinata in threes. Comedy Gold I tell ya.

As much as I hated WCW, I will say that Cat was the fucking man. Not being able to see him was one of the few down sides to boycotting Nitro...shoot. SIGN HIS ASS~!

At least on Nitro, they let guys *wrestle*, and usually gave them more than 3 minutes for the match.

I'm all for The Cat. His matches with Big Scotty Norton were probably the funniest things I ever saw.

I do find it odd that so many people hate and fear WCW, but they want Booker and Steiner to feud on RAW....and now The Cat..........hmmm. But he would be awesome on commentary, but don't bet on it.

The wrestling was great. I just got tired of the bullshit storylines and having the nWo shoved down my throat (it got old halfway through 97). Not to mention that Thunder I fell asleep at...

Why would Vince care about Bischoff's Kid's Karate Coach? Geez Vince stop listenin to Bischoff...he's bringing you down.

Nitros were better, in my opinion. Even when the storylines were crap, there were almost always a few very good cruiserweight or midcard matches. And it seemed like there was a big storyline development almost every week, even if it wasn't always something good. With Raws these days, it seems like if you don't watch them, you didn't really miss much.

Raw is in no immediate danger of getting as bad as THUNDER was though.

Bisch is just on-air talent. He has no influence on who they sign or bring in.

Check out the "Raw Notes" thread - Miller told WWE.com that Johnny Ace invited him.

I liked Thunder. Thuder is where Raven & his flock ran wild. It's where DDP would retaliate from his weekly Nitro beatings. It's where the cruiserweights were in the mid-card as opposed to the curtain jerk.

Sure, Nitro was better than RAW is now, but you have to remember that Nitro was three hours long, so they had time to through the cruiserweights and mid-card on T.V. without worrying about lost time. The NWO & Main Eventers basically had an hour all to themselves. The last hour that is. I mean, the would come out at the start of the show as well, but with three hours people like Blitzkrieg actually got to be on the program.

Nitro was trimmed down to 2 hours some time in 2000, wasn't it?

Rico & Cat would be an awesome team. For starters, their fashion sense seems to be about equal :)

Sheesh...talk about overeacting. They gave him a try out in a dark match. Some of you make it sound like they are giving him a title shot.

Howeeever...

Ernest Miller was a much better commissioner than Mick "Cheap Pop" Foley.

I'd rather see The Cat than Scott Steiner. Not a popular viewpoint, but its the honest truth.

Ernest Miller was Mr Saturday Night, if only you could see the classic Tae-Bo parody with Sonny Ono where they worked out with fat people.

Fat Woman - "Cat-Bo gave me my confidence back"

Loser Male - "I can now leave the house"

The Minnesota Massacre is still one of my favorite segments ever. And the rematch was almost as hilarious, as well.

:lol Man thanks for all the funny memories. I'm even more excited that they might sign him.

At least start him off commentating on heat for a couple weeks and drop him in with Bischoff.
