Will the Elimination Chamber be a dethroning?

Jericho likely won't be first or last man out. He'll be more like the 3rd if I was booking. First I'd get Kane out of it since his little run at the top sucked ass, and he's got the least stamina of anyone in it. I'd probably have Booker go next via a sleazy Jericho heel tactic, then I'd have RVD rid us of Jericho. At that point HHH and Shawn do some stuff leading to HHH nailing Shawn with the sledgehammer and getting a tainted win. From there RVD and HHH go at it until Shawn returns to nail HHH with the sledgehammer and RVD wins it.

At any rate, everyone but Crips and JobberCo will bump

What makes you think Jericho won't bump? He did in the tag team ladder match a few weeks ago on Raw, taking a chokeslam from the ladder, as well as from the top of the ladder in the ring to the floor.

Yeah, I don't get that either...Jericho quite often goes out of his way to bump.

Even Kane will do a little bumping...it's Booker T who does not bump.

Right now, they've hit the blow-off of the Kane feud, at least it looks like it with Kane winning his gimmick match. RVD wins at Survivor Series. You can run with the tag match at Armaggedon because that's probably going to be a strong card with Benoit/Angle vs. Guerreros blow-off (with Benoit turning on Angle) and Lesnar v. Edge (hopefully). I wouldn't be surprised if we get the two meeting up in the rumble (Angle wins), so that's another month. At No Way Out, you just shove them both into the title match, and have Angle/Benoit blow-off in the undercard for the number one contender's spot.

Steiner is coming in December, and it'll only be a while before he's injured. I doubt he'll come in and get a main event spot either without paying his dues. Too bad they got rid of the secondary title.

They probably know they have limited use of him, so they're probably going to give him the spotlight immediately to get maximum use out of the guy. But I doubt he's going to defeat Brock. He's got to be going after whoever is holding the Raw belt.

Do you think he'll be a face and go after HHH? Or a heel and go after RVD?

I don't think he'll go after anyone immediately. Maybe he'll get Test, if he's lucky and not jobbing for everyone.

Who said anything about Brock? I thought it was quite clear that Scotty is total Raw...He has to get a WORLD title match before WMXIX or he is a waste.

What is the difference between HHH winning the Elimination Chamber and Kurt Angle winning the 6-man Hell in the Cell in Dec 2000, beating ROCK, Taker, HHH,Austin, and Rikishi? No one mentions that though because everyone likes Angle and hates HHH. Same thing.

Probably that the elimination chambe will have five eliminations and HHH at some point to win would probably go over someone strong, and not eke out a pinfall.

in a situation like this, the guy with the most enemies wins. everybody hated flair in january 92, he got through the entire rumble & won. the rock, trips, and undertaker had it in for angle, & he won the armageddon match. rvd, kane & hbk hall have it in for trips right now. he'll win it.

Secretly i think the people at this board should be glad of HHH's limelight hogging ways...afterall if he didnt, what would there be to talk about?

If it weren't for HHH and his general evil-ness, smarks would actually be somewhat HAPPY, like they were circa 98-00. Sure there was some bitching going on, because there'll always be something to bitch about--but the total viciousness and vile hatred that is now present was not at all there.

And of course, what is much worse for the WWE, is that many have stopped bitching...because they're no longer watching.

No, it isn't. Angle was a new champ who had no credibility afte the Survivor Series farce. He needed that win. As did HHH at Unforgiven 1999.

This situation is different. The problem with HHH, now, is that he always wins, and his matches have no drama as a result. HHH 2002 has been the worst year of anybody in the WWF with the exception of Diesel 1995. If HHH wins this match, than nothing changes and RAW continues to go along the treamill. That said, in the current situation, giving it to RVD, Booker or Jericho won't mean anything anyways, since there is no build and they will defend in the opener against Jeff Hardy every week, killing their careers in the process (Jericho's already done it). Kane is worse than HHH from a business standpoint, and Michaels isn't a real wrestler. It is simply another example of the WWF booking themselves into a corner, where all the possible outcomes suck.

I'm thinking Steiner has to face Booker at some point in a #1 contender match, then he goes after RVD who is the champ after Series.

Major difference here is that Angle needed the win in that HIAC to legitimize his title run (though it didn't). He also had to pin one man. HHH will have to survive 5 different men here and if he does you will never hear the end of the bitching.

I'll be happy when HHH is gone because there'll be a whole lot less bitching and conspiray talk around here. That's why I wanted the No Hods Barred forum.

He already is a waste.

I have to question why you feel Steiner is *already" a waste to the WWE? While he isn't much of a worker, he brings a fresh personality that could make RAW a little more tolerable. He has no political swing, and no real pull, so how could he be a negative?

Because, the more novelty acts they bring in from the past, the harder it's going to be to actually elevate new talent. Michaels and Steiner, Nash on the horizon, and HHH not leaving his spot. How doest his help? Plus, Steiner's more than likely to get injured. Do you want to know what'll make RAW more enjoyable? Building up the guys you have and working with them. Not hotshotting big names every once in a while and creating a more crowded uppercard that guys like Booker T and RVD already can't break into, despite how over they are or how much they've paid their dues (as the WWE guys like to say).

Bad writing problems are not going to be solved by bringing in old stars, especially Steiner.

You can't discredit Steiner and say they should push Booker. They are about the same age and were on the same hierarchy in WCW. I think Steiner deserves a real Main Event run as much as anyoen else. This isn't exactly a novelty act like Hogan, Nash, or Hall was. He is atleast 5 years younger than the youngest in that group, as well he isn't bringing a stale stable gimmick like they were.

RVD is winning it.

I'm more confident about this one than any match this year.

...

well...except HHH winning the title at MAnia.

Is it possible that Micheals was placed in this match because HHH is more willing to job to him?

If HHH loses it will be to HBK. This way HBK can return the favor and give HHH a win in a higher profile match.

HHH will win...blah :shotgun:

But Booker was brought in and suffered for a year and a half in the company, whereas Steiner is just coming in and getting the push Booker should have gotten. Plus, Steiner's career is riddled with injuries.

But Booker paid his dues. And has been WWE-ized. And isn't going to be suffering from nagging injuries a week in.

I'm glad you're optimistic, but if you're wrong, I want you on here bitching about it immediately.
