OK....so lets recap the last 6 months of our esteemed World champion and his eternal quest to become the Nature Boy of the new millenium.

Carries around Ric Flair's Big Gold Belt

Starts wearing suits to the ring for interviews

Starts showing how he's a ladie's man

Has an angel with a dummy (remember Flair's angle with a dummy back in

the day?!?!)

He trys to have a feud with Bubba Ray Dudley (Dusty Rhodes Lite)

Tries to institute a submission finisher "sleeper of doom"

So whats next for "the Game"?

needs a new sidekick (ala AA)

needs a stable (waiting for Randy O and batista)

Needs to feud with John Cena (Sting Lite)

Needs to feud with Test (Lex Luger Lite- tremendous upside but no results)

any other suggestions?

How is HHH a ladies man, his last lay was a MANNEQUIN!

True though, HHH is coming close to being Flair 2002, but apart from one thing.

IN HIS PRIME, Flair was the best crowd worker of his day, and never really lost those skills. HHH however isn't even trying any more.

It's sad, see the difference between HHH - Foley and HHH - Rock from 2000 (when he was motivated) to HHH - anyone nowadays. It's really sad, I LOVED the 2000 edition HHH.

The rumor is that they will start a new Horsemen stable with HHH as the leader and Ric playing a JJ Dillion role.

I'll reserve comment until they actually start this.

He needs to form a team with Cena, and turn on him like once a month.

also

-gratuitous bleeding (*cough*eliminationchamber*cough*)

- Ridiculously blatent dye job

- stop winning with the Pedigree (as he even seen a Flair match?)

And don't forget that HHH claims to want to work the "NWA style", although his matches bear a closer resemblance to Bare-knuckle Boxing, if you ask me.

If HHH is Flair, than explain how HHH on a weekly basis needs to be carried above anything beyond *. If anyone on the roster is the nearest to Flair, its Kurt Angle.

Maybe he can start calling himself "Triple Naitch". As RikiChoshu said, HHH isn't the next Flair, he's the next Dusty.

I see Trips leaning more down Billy Grahams path. Look at a current pic of Billy Graham and you will understand.

Triple H isn't even a heel. Everything he does is just to bring face heat to a heel. Listen to the crowd during his mannequin skit. He knows damn well by doing stuff like that, he is just gonna be percieved as the "cool guy" instead of a true heel.

He was in the Kliq. They ALL fucking do that. If Shawn, Nash, Hall and the rest don't look cool by night's end, despite being a heel, their work is not done.

Being cool is one thing. Trying intentionally to be cool is another.

Austin in 96 being the first. The Kliq being the latter.

Just to clear up any misconseptions...I beleive HHH is TRYING to be like Flair; but he's not even anywhere close.

Tghe thing I liked about Flair was, he would job left and right, but not when it counted for the gold. made him look smart. And while I thing he was a great wrestler in his prime, I still don't think he compare's to Angle, Eddy or Benoit.

Now, before I get some flaming here, I'm the biggest Flair mark there is, but I think he was great because he knew how to draw heat and carry a match against superior as well as inferior opponents. A true master of ring psychology.

Absolutely. It's been said time and time again, that H is a HUGE flair mark. There's no doubt he's trying to secure his legacy as being the greatest. He's even trying to comeback to from a career ending injury...just like Flair.

It ain't gonna happen. Not as long as I'm still breathing.

*seconds later, a rental car driven by Rikishi plows into my room, killing me. HHH turns out to be the mastermind and proceeds in kicking the crap out my corpse*

Okay, I'm not a big HHH fan, but when you guys act like HHH gets no fan reaction or HHH isn't over with the marks, it's just not true. HHH gets boos and cheers, and his jokes on RAW's opening segment, no matter how stupid they are, get laughs from the crowd. HHH is Eternally Over, whether you like it or not.

Same thing with the Kliq. I don't know what shows you were watching, Big, but HBK and Kevin Nash got big pops during their "We are Tweeners, Hear Us Roar" period in the mid-90s, and they still get big pops today. So, obviously, the general fanbase percieves the Kliq as "cool".

I too am dumbfounded when people say HHH isn't over. He may not be getting the heat he got in 2000 (partially because he insists on getting face heat at the same time  )but he is over.

Angle's not even close, especially considering how long he's been around, and Benoit and Eddy pale in comparison because a) the haven't had the big matches that Flair had and b) they lack the longevity.

If you're lucky, that's all he'll do to your corpse. ;)

Yeah, but the problem is that he's supposed to be a heel, yet insists on doing things that make him a tweener.

That was what made Triple H (and to a certain extent Benoit) so awesome in 2000. He didn't try to be cool, he was just a genuinely nasty heel. You'd think Trip would realise that was his best role.
