The Greatest Hardcore Champion so far...

I know it means less then the European title and it has the stupid 24/7 rule, but there have been some good Hardcore Champions.  I would say Rhyno.  He was built as a dominating champion and had some good matches.  Raven would be second.

I'd say Blackman. I think he saved that belt with some decent matches after it became a bit of a joke. Not that it isn't now, really, but he did ok.

I voted for Foley (Mankind) because he is Hardcore.  He is the reason the belt came to be.  So yeah, I definately think Foley is the best Harcore Champ so far.

I enjoyed Raven's run as harcore champ.  He always added a nice twist to most of the matches like hitting Al Show in the face with pyro and a tope over the concession stand.

I would have to say the Roaddogg he even had a sick match with Bossman on Raw and battles in the crowd were still somewhat new.

I liked the Crash Holly stuff.

 

But I had to vote for RVD.  To the surprise of no one.

 

Rhyno had some good stuff too...as did Raven.

I voted for Blackman. It was the one time he was really over, and it actually brought stability to the belt for a while. He also had good matches as the style really suited him.

I picked Crash Holly. As someone said that was really the only time I actually cared for the title. It was just so different with the 24-7 rule. RVD, Rhyno, and Road Dog are also mentionable. I forgot Shane had this title.

True, but that's because Foley took it off of 24/7. And can you say his match wasn't great?

I voted for Rob Van Dam, simply because he brought value back to the Hardcore Title. He had a great feud with Jeff Hardy that brought some worth to the title, these guys wanted the belt so much, they even had a ladder match. RVD also brought the ECW style of hardcore to the hardcore title, which is something we didn't see for a while. Also, RVD actually held the title for a nice, lengthy amount of time to give the belt some respect.

I picked Road Dogg because his Hardcore title matches were fun to watch. If you ask me Road Dogg was the last HC champ people actually gave a damn about. Soon after he lost the 24/7 rule came into play and everyone from Pete Gas to Gerald Brisco won the title on a daily basis. If they kept the title on Blackman, it could have regained that little bit of pride it had before went down the hole.

I voted RVD because hell, the guy main evented a PPV when he was hardcore champ.  He also had the coolest matches with the belt.  Raven had the most underrated match of 2001 though against Rhino.....drop toe hold into the shopping cart baby!

Oh god that match raven had against rhyno was amazing. the crowd went into that dead and by the end of the match they were counting the pin falls and going insane for the spots. if Raven had won he would have gotten a MASSIVE pop. So Rhyno is my pick for the best hardcore champ. all though roaddogg deserves a mention because the tittle was the ost over IMO when he held it.
