If you liked the Bush Social Security ad...

Dasch-hole lauging in the end is hilarous.

And unlike the Bush one, this one is TRUE.

I can't stand any type add like this, to me it is a slap in the face that is the US Government, but hey...

...that's nothing new.

Evil Dashle is pretty funny but it's a lame cartoon. I'd like to meet a person who actually is influenced politically by stuff like this or any political TV ad for that matter.

It shouldn't suprise anyone campaigns are run like this. It's been going on since the Federalist and Non-Federalist where slinging mud at each other.

Exactly, it's nothing new at all. It's just absurd if you ask me, and if anything it tempts me to NOT want to vote, or to even care period. I'm sure it has that effect on others also.

Show me the one about Bush, I want to see if that one's backed by facts or "media driven anti-right propaganda."

That cartoon was funny, but I still hate the RNC with a passion, and didn't the President promise Homeland Security first?

The Democratic Controlled Senate is making the Homeland Security Bill a Union issue.

The House already passed legislation for the Homeland security.

But isn't it really almost even in each house anyway? The Democrats have what, a two man edge in the Senate? The Republicans in the House have how many greater than 50%, 10 at the most? I don't know the numbers exactly, but I'm just trying to point out that with how even it is in each house, it really comes down to just convincing people through speeches on the floor and action whether to vote yay or nay, not party alignment.

Would Understand If It Was 2/3 Controlled Or Something

It's 50 Democrats 49 Republicans and 1 Independent (who votes with the Democrats).

I don't know if a Home Security bill has been created or it was defeated. Just that it shouldn't that hard to get something done.

The provision about firing incompetant workers is what Daschle is saying he disagrees with.

Of course, if the tables were reversed, and a Dem. president couldn't get this secruity bill passed through a GOP Congress, Big Media would be telling us all how Newt Gingrich wanted us to DIE... (Anybody remmeber 1995?)
