Guest Leena Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Isn't UB like the 2nd biggest party school in the US?
Guest NazMistry Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I didn't feel like University for a week so I caught the first train home and didn't return for three weeks. To my absoloute delight, the Media centre was burnt down the night I left (no one was hurt), and their had been no lectures or seminars since I left.

Guest LaParkaMarka Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Yeah, Igali is an SFU guy. It's kind of neat to be able to say that I've walked right past a wrestler at the same level as Kurt Angle. Though I somehow doubt Igali will ever go WWE on us. He's got a hell of a story, too. Have you heard the bit about his landlord not even knowing he was a world champion until he saw it on the news a week later? I know a fair amount about the guy, but this landlord story is all new to me. I'm not suprised though...he seems to be a quiet, humble guy, so not really the type who would go around bragging about being an Olympic gold medalist. Every time I've seen him at school, he just seems like any other student. I think Igali is attempting to build an orphanage(or school) in Nigeria right now. The guy is such a class act. Anyways, how did a Buffalo boy know about a Western Canadian kid? Are you a Canuck, by any chance?
Guest Ace309 Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Isn't UB like the 2nd biggest party school in the US? Sixth, I think, but that's universally disregarded by the students. No one actually believes it, as a UB "party" is basically sitting and getting drunk. It's like being in Russia. Anyways, how did a Buffalo boy know about a Western Canadian kid? Are you a Canuck, by any chance? Well, I'm very active in amateur wrestling, despite not being vcery accomplished at the senior level. I've wrestled at a few tournaments in Guelph and Saint Catherine's, and so I keep up with the Canadian amateurs scene. Also, pretty much anyone in North America who follows wrestling knows about Igali. Not only did he have an amazing Olympic and pre-Olympic run, but he's also had quite a series with the US's former top guy at his weight, Lincoln McIlravy.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Actually, I was talking about Spaceman Spiff. But uh hey that's a nice camera ya got there. Geez, get caught in a guy's closet 3 or 4 times, and all of a sudden I've got a rep as a stalker...
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 *no sells Stalker SPIFF~! post* I can not be absent from a class more than 10 days a semester so I have to manage my sick/ditch days a lot. It is a bitch to say the least.
