Guest RedJed Report post Posted October 30, 2002 Since ECW and WCW moreless merged with the WWF, there never is much talk anymore of matches that people wished would happen between the companies because most of them at one point or another have happened in the last 18 months. There still has got to be some matches you've died to see though, even if they involved retired guys against current, etc. The major match I can think of that I have always wanted to see is Ricky Steamboat v. Kurt Angle. I don't know why but this is like the ultimate match IMO, probably just because they're two of my favorite all time wrestlers. In the ultimate battle of heel v. face tag teams, I think a Guererros-Rock N Rock Express match would be something too. Other weird matches that I can think of that could still happen if the cards were right.....Lo-Ki/Tajiri, Benoit/Jerry Lynn, Red/Rey Jr, Styles/RVD Any others you can think of? Guest Special K Report post Posted November 1, 2002 There's a number of current indies stars (low ki, Fallen Angel, American Dragon, Styles) who'd I'd love to see take on some of the Puro cruisers (in their prime) Like Ohtani, Liger, CIMA, Magnum, Kanemoto. And there are a LOT of potentially fun matches in WWE that we'll never see, because the lightweights have had to tone it down so much.
