Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Got it off of 411/1wrestling, I'm sure now that that it has gotten out its probably sold out as I am typing, or hell I hope so, that is probably the last line of defense. Sure I can understand a house show at MSG not packing it in, but when was the last time the Garden did not sell out a major event (TV taping, PPV, ect) Dark days are coming
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 They didn't sell out for Raw a couple of months ago. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 That is crazy. The MSG not sold out??? Is there such a way in the English language you can put those words???
Guest DerangedHermit Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Average New Yorker: "I would rather see Puppetry of the Penis. Less crude than the WWE."
Guest snowfan Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'd rather watch grass grow than watch Raw... they'll comp the hell out of it if need be...
Guest RepoMan Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 It's about a month until the event takes place. I'll wait to panic until its not sold out by the time it takes place.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 The way that Raw is doing, and the fact that the Raw Brand's elimination Chamber is being promoted... I wouldn't be surprised if people REFUNDED their tickets. ^^;
Guest bob_barron Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'm going to Survivor Series!!! Section 103!!
ChrisMWaters Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'm going to Survivor Series!!! Section 103!! How close is that to the ring?
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'm sure the Survivor Series will sell out. I mean, there is still a few weeks to go. I can't imagine a PPV as big as the Survivor Series not selling out.
Guest bob_barron Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'm like directly opposite the titantron
ChrisMWaters Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'm like directly opposite the titantron Hmm...just making sure I got the image right, since last time I saw MSG and remembered it was my tape of WM10 and Royal Rumble 2000....you're the opposite side of where the wrestlers come out, right? Also...will be interesting to see what the entrance looks like for this PPV.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Yeah, for pay per view, MSG doesn't have 1/3 of the arena blocked off for an entrance ramp and TitanTron (at least, they never have before). They use the OLD SCHOOL entrance on the far side of the camera, which looks infinitely cooler. Also, I wouldn't press the panic button for them not selling out Survivor Series quite yet. Tickets just went on sale Saturday. I know that a couple years ago, they'd have sold out the first day, but this is a different era. As long as they have the place sold out by the time the event rolls around, they'll be satisfied. Keep in mind, they just had SummerSlam at Nassau, which might have some effect on a PPV at MSG. One more thing, why do they only put tickets on sale like only a month before the event? They used to start ticket sales way before that. I would think they'd want as much time as possible for tickets to sell now, especially with slower sales.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Whats the date for the ppv anyways?
ChrisMWaters Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Whats the date for the ppv anyways? November 17.
Guest bob_barron Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'm sort of diagnol from the ring
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 I'm sure the Survivor Series will sell out. I mean, there is still a few weeks to go. I can't imagine a PPV as big as the Survivor Series not selling out. Last year's Survivor Series didn't sell out, and it was the BIGGEST NIGHT IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS ENTERAINMENT..... or so they said. I believe that was the first show where I started to pay attention to whether or not WWF/E events sold out.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Right now Vince is probably busy concocting plans of possible terroist threats that would prevent Wrestlemania from taking place at Safeco Field..just in case..
Guest bravesfan Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Right now Vince is probably busy concocting plans of possible terroist threats that would prevent Wrestlemania from taking place at Safeco Field..just in case.. "Due to rampant terrorist threats, Wrestlemania 19, originally slated for Safeco Field...will be broadcast live on PPV from a sold-out Starbucks in Downtown Seattle!" BAH GAWD, SMELL THE RATINGS!!! (and the coffee.)
Guest Rob Van Dam Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Mania will easily sell out at Safeco Field
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 BAH GAWD, SMELL THE RATINGS!!! (and the coffee.) Mmm. I just hope the ring doesn't get in the way of the cashier. I guess in that case I'll have to ask Big Show to get me a cinnamon roll.
Guest nikowwf Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Its pretty much sold out except for some $400 seats. Except for anamolies like Summerslam that sell out instantly, the really expensive seats always tend to linger awhile. Its about 99% sold out and the ticket prices were mad high, so I dont think this one is a bad sign. I think this is just 1wrestling reaching to report as many bad things about WWE as possible. The website must not have had a mistake to make fun of that day. niko
