Guest Breetai Report post Posted October 31, 2002 I just saw this and WHAT THE FUCK???!!!?!! HOGAN DOES A FLIP-OVER ARMBAR? MUTA CATCHES HIS LEG AND HE DOES A FUCKING ENZEGURI? (sp) MUTA KICKS OUT OF THE LEGDROP? HOGAN TAKES A BUMP ON THE RAMP??!?! It's like a completely different guy. He was even technical in that match. BTW, what's the difference between an axe bomber and a clothesline?
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted October 31, 2002 And Muta kicked out of the legdrop. Don't forget that. what's the difference between an axe bomber and a clothesline? The call, and the fact that Hogan does it.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted October 31, 2002 MUTA CATCHES HIS LEG AND HE DOES A FUCKING ENZEGURI? (sp) I may be fuzzy on this...but didn't Hulk catch him on the arm or shoulder?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted October 31, 2002 the match was so different than what you would expect from Hogan. Axe Bomber is an 90 degree downward lariat?

No, I just looked at it again and he clips the back of his skull and ear with it. It's like bizzaro Hogan.
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted October 31, 2002 I get that bizarro-Hogan feeling watching him vs Flair from BATB 94, he whips out the step-over armbar and other assorted stuff you rarely see.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted October 31, 2002 Just seeing him transition from a headlock to a hammerlock in his BatB 94 match seems unreal. An Axe Bomber is just a lariat, except you clothesline your opponent with your arm bent at a 90 degree angle. I believe the concept of it is that the hooking motion allows for a faster, more devastating blow than a normal straight arm clothesline.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted October 31, 2002 I think the funniest part is the press deal after the match...where he goes on about how great of a wrestler he really thinks he is.
Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted October 31, 2002 Despite Hogan breaking out moves he hasn't done in NA I still thought the Muta match was bad *1/2 - **. Hogan needs to be carried to a decent match, Muta as his opponent isn't going to make for a good match. The Flair Hogan match from BATB '94 was ***1/2 - **** IMO, great heat, drama and classic Flair and Hogan moments.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 1, 2002 How old is this match against Muta? I would love to see a copy of it.
