Guest The Hamburglar Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 The ankle-breaking psycho gimmick was great, but it ended up making Angle look a little too powerful to the extent that any time he was beaten up it didn't seem credible. Also, it kinda infringed on Benoit's gimmick. Anglesault, let me ask you this. Do you find Kurt Angle's interviews and skits funny? Given that a lot of them centre around him creating humour though a ridiculously overblown pompous character I would think that you wouldn't be able to stand them. That is how he became the most over heel in the company, not this fantasy Angle character you dreamed up.

It's been established many, many times, even by Angle himself. And Angle is absolutely wasted in the midcard. The wig trick shows building character for Angle Bumbling moron that we should all laugh at. There is a winner of a character. Tell me how great Crybaby Christian was while your at it.

Of course, you're like the press with a politician...distorting words to your own purpose.

That worked. And it was so needed. All I remember was every soul in the locker room AND MAVEN laughing at him and him getting his pulled down every week. Please, refresh my memory, at what point was he being an asshole that the fans hated? (And didn't laugh at him)

Again, Anglesault's 2-Dimensional world strikes. Ignoring Anglesault now and going back to the topic that this thread is for...personally, I would like to see Brock as a face. For some reason, I would think it would work better for him. That's just me though.
Guest The Hamburglar Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Back on topic, absolutely. I want Brock to stay heel, he had the sadistic psycho character down to a tee. He can still feud with Edge, Rey and tweener Angle and Benoit. Hell, sometimes people forget that Eddy is charismatic enough to turn face in the blink of an eye, so he could be a prospective future opponent.

At this point, anyone who feuds with him will have to be a job boy. Maybe after he loses the title, but until then, no.
Guest Brian Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 If they can book Rey to look strong against him than the other guys won't suffer. Well, maybe Brock will be called dork too much.
