Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Am I the only one who loves this show? Every episode cracks me up. Anyone else out there like it?
Guest MrRant Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I consider the cartoons from that era to be far superior to any animation today including anime.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I agree and what the hell is up with cartoons today? They are either "educational" pre-school tripe, or full of unfunny jokes and characters. Fuck that, give me Bugs dressing like a female hunter, getting Elmer all horny and then blowing his head off.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Last night they had an episode with Elmer dressed up as a Viking, and the whole thing was done like an opera...hilarious. The best part of the B.B. & Tweety show was that it also had all the other characters. Wyle E. Coyote owns j00.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Last night they had an episode with Elmer dressed up as a Viking, and the whole thing was done like an opera...hilarious. I remember that one. That cartoon actually won an Emmy or Oscar (don't remember which). "Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit!"
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 2, 2002 the old Warner Brothers cartoons are some of the best stuff out there. Killer the Bashful bird is so funny "nonononono I don't wanna" , "Da Um Tee Um De Dum" Yosemity Sam vs Bugs Bunny classic stuff
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 2, 2002 One of the creators of Bugs Bunny lives here In BC, sadly the creators got screwed by Warner money wise and the guys barely got any money to get by on.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Too bad Chuck Jones has to get by solely on selling autographs of the classic cartoons, I think none of the cartoonist from that era made any royalities from their work for WB. WB cartoon shorts were far superior than any of the Disney cartoon shorts of the same era.

Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted November 2, 2002 < look at the pic! Anyways, I think that the show is awesome! Although I like old Disney too, Bugs bunny and Tweety win.

Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted November 2, 2002 The Bugs/Daffy/Elmer hunting season episodes never fail to amuse me. For 50s and 60s material, it's still f'n brillant stuff.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Duck Amuck is my all time favourite
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted November 2, 2002 "Duck Amuck" as well as "What's Opera, Doc?" are both considered the best cartoons of all time. I'm not as big on "What's Opera, Doc?," but I LOVE "Duck Amuck." Daffy is indeed God. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I don't think I've seen a cartoon series as funny as the old WB stuff. Other than Simpsons which I don't really see as a cartoon.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I wouldn't really put shows like Simpsons and Family guy in the same catergory as Bugs Bunny and Tweety
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 2, 2002 it would be hard to compare the sit-com network animated series to the classic WB matinee cartoons. Duck Dodgers of the 31st Century is one of my favorite Daffy cartoons.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 2, 2002 which did you guys like better: Coyote Vs. Road Runner or Coyote Vs. Sheep Dog. I liked against the sheep dog more.

Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Who ever the hell Coyote was against, he was being held down~! When was the last time Road Runner or Sheep Dog job to the Coyote damnit! With that said, its pretty hard choice, but Coyote vs. Sheep Dog gets my vote.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I love Sam and Ralph! Morning Sam Morning Ralph The best was when Sam would be about to pound the shit out of Ralph but then the lunch break whistle would go off, so they would go off to lunch, come back and Sam would then pound the shit out of Ralph. Great stuf
Guest Phr33k Report post Posted November 2, 2002 My fave's the one where Daffy plays Robin Hood, and Porky Pig's Friar Tuck. Yikes! And AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!
Guest MrRant Report post Posted November 2, 2002 My favorite is when Porky is chasing Daffy and they run my Porky's dad and Daffy points out that he is smoking "Wacky Tabaccy."
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 2, 2002 The one where Slyvester and Porky are camping and an alien abducts them is pretty funny.

Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Anyone notice in the early Porky cartoons he was buddied up with a goat named Daffy? The goat's name is Gabby.
Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted November 2, 2002 "Read 'em and weep rabbit! 5 Aces!" "Oh yeah? Well, I got SIX Aces!" "Hold it doc! Can I stand on one card?" "HA! Stupid rabbit! Go ahead! And I have 10....20! Beat that!" "Twenty-One." (With ONE CARD.) "Open the drawbridge!" *WHAM* "Close it! Close it! Close the drawbridge!"
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted November 2, 2002 RoadRunner never put over Wil E Coyote My favorite is when Bugs Bunny plays all the positions in the Baseball game.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures were pretty funny and are still funny (especially Animaniacs)..but this crap they have now, I don't know what its called but its baby characters...That just sucks.. I still like a good Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck cartoon though, its odd because they just never seem to get old or not funny, even if I've seen it before 25 times.. Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Tex Avery-directed early 1940s absurdist cartoons = GOLD. 1936's Porky Pig in Wackyland was the best of the 30s, sez I, along with the Hatfields and McCoy's Porky and Petunia cartoon. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
