Guest El Satanico Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 I agree and what the hell is up with cartoons today? They are either "educational" pre-school tripe, or full of unfunny jokes and characters. Blame those damn parent and religous groups and the politicians that bend over backwards to please them for the overall bad cartoon enviroment. There still are good cartoons out there, but they get drowned out by the bad stuff making people think all of the cartoons are terrible. Also i haaaate Tweety, Grandma(tweety's keeper) and Taz. They are overrated shite that get way too much "love" and get in the way of good characters. I always cheer for Syvester to eat Tweety and take an ax to grandma.
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 I can't wait for Warner Bros. to release the Looney Tunes mega box set next year, assuming they still plan to do so.

Coyote when he and the Road Runner duke it out.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 I always loved "What's Opera, Doc?" but my favorite character is Daffy. Tweety's not particularly interesting for me, because even though he's got a catchphrase he doesn't seem as defined as Bugs. Then again, very few are, simply because Bugs has been in so many cartoons over the years. I don't like Tex Avery. Some of his cartoons are all right, but a lot of the humor is dated pop culture references, and I REALLY HATE that one guy he ALWAYS PUTS IN HIS CARTOONS! (the one with the big nose and the hat & green suit)
Guest Dmann2000 Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 Don't forget, "Duck season, Wabbit season" led to the Gold of Austin/Angle's dueling "Hero, Jackass"
