NFL ticket contract ends this year.....

The exclusive contract that Direct TV has with the NFL ticket ends this year, and it is highly likely that next year, it will be available on every MAJOR system. So if it comes to your system, would you get it? I always thought to email whoever runs NFL ticket and ask them to come out with a version that instead of paying $200 for EVERY GAME, maybe just have someone pay $75 - $100, to get all the games of THEIR TEAM. In other words, since I like the Redskins, I pay for a different plan to get ALL the REDSKINS games, and then whatever games are on network tv, I will get as a bonus.

Well here at AT&T we offer single day packages of say ESPN Gameplan for like 14.95 so perhaps that will happen.

Hmm. Its not Directv Exclusive..I can get Sunday Ticket on my big Dish..I just choose not to because its $249 for a full year on my satelite vs about $100 less on Directv.

I'd get this package on my Directv in a second if it was $100 or less.

I live in the home state of my team and get to see all of their games. It just isn't worth $200 or more to me to see every other game.

However i always debate about getting the NCAA football package. I live in Ohio so instead of my local stations playing good games from the top teams in the nation i always get stuck watching one of the scrub big ten teams like Indiana or Northwestern. It pisses me off to no end. I could watch Oklahoma vs. Texas, but oh yeah i'd much rather see Indiana vs. Northwestern.

With having west coast stations and basic cable I can almost half the games among different channels already.

So what's the point?
