Guest J*ingus Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 That's obviously a mannequin wearing the suit, nobody uses silver coloring like that for FX purposes. But yeah, the outfit is weird. Anyone else think that Freddy's makeup looks kinda off in those pics as well?
Guest RedJed Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I think Freddy looks pretty good in the [pics, you gotta keep in mind with alot of dark camerawork (which seems to be the direction they are going in) he will look even better (ie creepier). His look is more reminiscent of parts 3 and 4 of Elm Street, which were the best makeup jobs of the series, IMO. I was thinking the same thing about the Jason pic, that is might either be a fake or just generally isn't what we are going to really be seeing in the movie. I know its a different person other than Hodder in the Jason role this time, but that body and head ratio looks way weird with someone new in the outfit. Just might be a mannequin after all, like you said.

Would have been an easy 100million maker in what, 89, I really couldnt give a fuck anymore about these two guys, even if the characters are legends, Jason in Space pissed over Jason and WCN made me not like Freddy anymore. Pass. Make it a triple threat with Leprachuan(sp) and I'd be there. (Yeah the movies sucked, but the charcter was great)
Guest Lethargic Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 That Jason pic was taken around the time they were filming a fire scene so the head part looks weird because he's wearing some flame retardant crap. What I don't get is how people keep looking at that pic and saying he looks fat. Um...where? This guy looks like about 40 pounds lighter than Kane Hodder and that's what sucks about it to me. He looks too small. He just has a lot of clothes on. When I see that I'm seeing a 150 pound man with about 5 layers of bum-like shit-stained clothing on. You can thow all the clothes on the guy you want but it's not gonna turn him into the solid mass of murdering muscle that is Kane Hodder.
