It should be the matches and the angles...Match placement really does not mean much. In the old days, the Main event would be the Middle Match before Interim. So as long as you get your 30 minute Eddy,Chavo, Angle, Beniot, Rey, Edge matches...shouldn't you be pleased with that weather Brock is fighting 7 minute squash matches with other hosses instead of Brock branching into Holy Trio?

I'm pretty sure they wish they were in Japan wrestling 40 minutes a night for 4 days a week for shit money and zero Worldwide exposure. You act as if Beniot and Angle are angry about their placement as Smackdown's premeir wrestlers. They aren't. They are doing a respectable angle that isn't comedy based or Necrophilla based but something simple and old school and getting to put on a show... the fact that Brock Lesnar carries a 20 pound block of gold around his weight means very little to Beniot and Angle as opposed to what they already have. Kids, wives, stellar careers and your admiration.

I want to see the people who are having good matches on top making the title mean something. I'm sure they are happy, but I'm not happy with the way things are going.

Hell, the whole basis of the feud was that Benoit laughed at an Angle stink face. Now there's a winner of a feud.
Guest Choken One Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 Right...Which Angle took as an offense to his manhoood, he felt embrassed that his own peer felt the need to laugh about an unfourtante situation that he revived his silent contempt for the man. Beniot, feeling challenged also revived his contempt for Angle and the whole fued ever since has had nothing to do with a stink face, it's been about honor, respect, ability and vengence.

I really, really, enjoyed the Angle/Benoit feud for one night. The week before No Mercy, They were booked to appear smart, they didn't bumble over the show, they didn't kowtow and tremble in Stephanie's presense, and they actually outsmarted someone. Two weeks later, having apparently learned NOTHING at all, Benoit is mixed up with eddy and Chavo again!
