Why don't house shows exist in WWF TV-land?

The last time I saw a reference to a house show (except for the ads trying to sell tickets) was back in 1998. A heel Undertaker had clocked Steve Austin with a shovel, and the next week on RAW (this was back before Smackdown ... those were the days) they showed footage of Austin suffering a "black out" at a house show.

 

Does anyone else remember a time when the mentioned a house show on TV?

on a house show on a saturday before the ppv jeff jarrett dropped the ic title to edge, and they saw edge come out with the belt for the match,m and they showed footage of edge winning

Didn't Christian win the European title at a house show or at a Smackdown taping and it didn't make TV? I think they mentioned that a few times on TV.

That really ticked me off when I saw it.  Christian won the title from Bradshaw on a SD! taping and it was cut off the show for time.  I could understand it if the show was just packed, but it was full of recaps and the usual nonsense where wrestling should be.  They never even showed footage of Christians title victory and they wonder why the Euro title isn't over.  They just announced it on Raw with Christian holding the title in an interview.
