Guest MrRant Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Pretty simple here. List recipies for things that are 4 items or less to make. Doesn't have to be really cheap or anything. Pepperoni Melt: 1. Bread (sub type bread works best) 2. Pepperoni 3. Cheese (I suggest Mozzerella or Provalone) 4. Some Mayo/Miracle Whip Spread mayo on bread and then layout the pepperoni followed by cheese. Wrap in foil and put in a preheated oven at about 350-400 for about 10-15 minutes.
Guest starvenger Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Broiled scallops: - scallops (pref fresh) - melted butter - lemon/lime juice. Put the scallops on a small cookie sheet or the small tray for the toaster oven. Mix the butter and a little juice, and pour it over the scallops. Set your oven/toaster oven to broil, throw the scallops in, and remove when browned. Season to taste (I recommend some cayenne pepper for a little kick).

That's a good one, but I like it more without the mayo.
Guest El Hijo del Homsar Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Random Cans Fiesta 1 can black beans, drained 1 large can diced tomatoes, drained one large onion, chopped 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, chopped Put everything in a pot or big frying pan (a wok works, too). Cook on high heat (lid off, so the entire stove gets covered in crap) until onions are soft. Serve on anything starch-based.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Cheesesteaks of Oblivion: Cheap thinly cut steak. Can O' Mushrooms An Onion Cheese. Beat the shit out of the steak, throw it in a hot pan and cook the hell out of it, add all the other stuff, mutilate it thoroughly. Put on bread. I like my veggies pretty crunchy, though, so I don't cook them that long. Just as long as the cheese is melted and holding everything together like a lovely lactic glue. Stick green peppers in there, too, but that would dictate 5 items.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 A few of my faves: Grilled Cheese with tomato Bread Butter Cheese Tomato Butter the outer sides of the bread, and use two pieces of cheese to sandwich the tomato slices. Cook to desired darkness. Baby Pasta Can of chicken broth "baby pasta" (by this I mean tiny forms of pasta, like soup noodles, etc. Grated Cheese Boil the broth, and toss in desired amount of pasta. Allow the pasta to soak up the broth, cooking long enough so that it's totally absorbed. When done cooking pasta, sprinkle in grated cheese (of any kind) and allow it to melt to pasta. Pour into a bowl, grab a spoon and enjoy.

Guest BifEverchad Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Open Faced Tuna Melt - 1 Can of Tuna - Bread - Mayo/Miracle Whip - Oregano Open and drain the tuna. Put the tuna into a bowl and add mayo/Miracle Whip. Mix it well and evenly. As you mix the tuna, throw in a dash of oregano for added flavor. While doing this, you could lightly toast the bread in your toaster or you could use your stove (which you should be putting on broil as well). After you have your bread toasted to your desire, place the tuna mixture on top of each slice of bread. Place in the oven for about 5 minutes until the top looks to be "melted" moreso. You could also add a sprinkle of paprika after you take it out of the oven for that finished look, but that too would past the 4 item limit. Enjoy!

Top with your favorite syrup/jelly/whatever.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 The biggest fuckin' corndog you'll ever eat: This one required some drug influence. 1 Pack of Hot Dogs 1 Box cornbread mix Cheese in a can. First, take a whole goddamn pack of hot dogs, and nuke 'em for about 30 seconds. Just so they're ready to go, but not totally cooked yet. Whip up the cornbread mix, which doesn't require much. Build a fort with the hot dogs like they were lincoln logs, only try to keep them somewhat together. Use toothpicks as structural support, and easy cheese as caulk. Then coat the block in cornbread batter. (not too much) Bake the whole thing until the cornbread is done. Let it ripen for a few minutes, or else your mouth will be the victim of an eruption of scalding hot cheese. Hack into 4-inch chunks, and add mustard, salt, and ketchup if desired. Actually, it's pretty necessary, since this thing isn't really all that good, but it costs less than five bucks total, and will feed a few people. Better than nothin'.
Guest MrRant Posted November 25, 2002 Report Posted November 25, 2002 My tuna fish sandwiches: 1 Can Tuna 1 Cup Mayo Dill relish or chopped up pickles 1 Tablespoon mustard (Dijon works well) Mix and then put on bread and yuuuummmmmy!

Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 I'll take a Hawkwich any day of the week. For those of you who don't know what a Hawkwich is: - 2 Toasted Eggo Waffles (Hawk uses Blueberry, I like Homestyle, use what you prefer) - Glob of peanut butter (JIF is King!) Splotch the peanut butter on the waffles, stick them together, and enjoy the perfect post-Thanksgiving snack, Daddio!
