Guest jester Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 According to 411: -A new 10-10-220 commercial featuring Hulk Hogan and Alf has started airing. Nothing says "has-been" or "never quite was" like a cheap long distance commercial. Yes Hogie, you're on the same level as Alf and Carrot top.

Guest subliminal_animal Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Actually, those commericals aren't bad at all. It's a step up from Hollywood Squares. Hell, it's a step up from the WWE right about now.

It has to be a step up from Mr. Nanny.. ...damnit...you reminded me of the Smackdown where Edge said that Mr. Nanny blew Scorpion King out of the water. I remember it because I was in the audience of that one.
Guest notJames Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 I think Emmitt Smith would have something to say about that. Of course, I am a notorious Cowboys anti-fan, so I couldn't care less, but I'll give props to the guy for 1) breaking Sweetness' rushing yardage record and 2) sticking with one team for his entire career. Hogan can't say he's done anything close to that.

Jericho, Christian, Rock or Angle cutting a Promo against Hogan on this would Rule.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Hogan and Alf are back..................in pog form.
Guest jester Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Let's all hope that one day: "You can uh save on long uh distance by calling 10 uh 10 uh 220" *Poses, spits water into phone, humps corpse of Carrot Top*
Guest notJames Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Hogan and Alf are back..................in pog form. NICE~!
Guest El Satanico Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Compared to Emmit Smith Hogan is a great actor in that AT&T commercial. Emmit Smith is so horrible in commercials:shivers: I hope Emmit Smith never becomes an announcer he'd be worse than Troy Aikman.

Did you happen to think Hogan was at a higher level than Alf and Carrot Top before this ad? Admit it, Verne...he is. You ask someone who Hulk Hogan is, they know. Some people would need to be reminded about Alf. People know who Carrot Top is, too, but I think the average man on the street would have fond memories of Hogan and no fond memories of Carrot Top or the time he sex-wrestled Sunny on WrestleMania promo.
Guest D'Lo White Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Seeing Mike Piazza doing those commercials made me embarass to be a Met fan.
