That's a pretty hot banner. I like the "disruption" effect, and it does stand out.

In all hoensty, it might have landed a 10, except that I can't figure out what's in the background, and it took me a bit to see that it was in fact Raven.

 

As for the Angle banner, my personal rating on it was based out of the fact that the cuts are great, and my only problem with it was that background, which I mentioned in the post that I rated it in.

 

On my scale, 8/10 is pretty damn good, but one or two things keep it from being "great".

 

Chill out, man. If I'd have passed out 8/10's to the last thirty banners that came through here, then I could see such remarks as warranted, but two 8/10's (which I've now fully explained)?

I love that effect, it makes the banner unique and stand out. I give it a 8/10.

I give it a 6/10 cuts good, background good, font use is good, distortion is ok. But something about it just doesn't appeal to me.
