Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted November 5, 2002 I was rather bothered by the terrible transfer on the new Rodan disc (which I reviewed, peep the Pop Culture section if you haven't read it yet), so I did some research and found that the Region 2 version I was looking so forward to importing didn't have English subtitles. I also found out from this source that Gamera, which has no DVD release (or even any VHS following to my knowledge) at all, is less expensive, and has the English subtitles. It's still a bit too expensive for me, but I found it and some other Gamera movies at an eBay auction. Now, I've never seen any of the Gamera films, so... are they any good? Is it worth checking out?
