And this is the first time I've heard that a bearhug is the HIGHLIGHT of the match. Ugh, I wonder what the lowlights were......

 

They should have went with Benoit instead in Shows slot. Like I've said before, Hogan would have even been better, but its good to know they at least HAD that planned first and foremost, but of course Hogan had to refuse to put Brock over again.

 

On a positive note, I think Heyman will at least book Show solidly leading to the ppv to give the impression that he's worthy of the title match. But then once the match happens.......well........

Oh dear. That certainly doesn't sound like a very good sign. Good thing Raw gets to have the main event this PPV, right? I mean, Smackdown has had the last FIVE, and it'd be nuts to not have the Elimination Chamber last.

The first week, he did a walk in on an Angle match, F5ed Henry and walked back. When Angle confrnoted him, he was wheesing. The week after, he had a match with Henry, and after the match a confrontation with Hogan, and he was huffing.

So, both backstage? If so, we have no idea when they were filmed. They could have done them 3 hours before showtime, to make sure they don't mess up, or it really could have been immediately afterwards.

 

Bottom line, unless you know exactly when they were filmed, those 2 instances don't prove anything.

I've seen pleny of matches that can be described as slow that blow away everything the WWE's put out this year.

Brian, those matches could probably also be described as "good".

 

Slow + Bad is a) not a good combination and b) Big Show's nickname.

 

And this is just a theory, but I think if you try to give someone an F5, but collapse due to thier mammoth weight, you have just performed a "modified fireman's carry".

You're going to tell me that Flair and Steamboat working over a chinlock for thirty minutes isn't slow? Savage and Steamboat put out some awesome house show matches that were very slow, at least one of which topped their Mania match. Benoit/Regal was by definition a slow match.

the promo that aired last night during raw for survivor series made me laugh. it said some crap about a sleep giant awakening. more like a lazy fuck is getting a push he doesn't deserve. personally i would love to see brock turn face and feud with chris benoit over the title
