Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 5, 2002 more like a lazy fuck is getting a push he doesn't deserve. Which one?
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Those were definatly slow matches, but they were also good matches. I get this sinking feeling that watching Show and Brock trade bearhugs won't result in a good match, just a slow one. PS - Can Brock even get his arms around Show? And if he can't will he do nothing but clotheslines and punching?
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 5, 2002 more like a lazy fuck is getting a push he doesn't deserve. Which one? Big Show. At least Brock is starting to come into his own. Cool sig BTW Anglesault.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 5, 2002 more like a lazy fuck is getting a push he doesn't deserve. Which one? Big Show. At least Brock is starting to come into his own. . I was also refering to HHH and Kane. Brock is more of a useless fuck getting a push he doesn't deserve.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted November 5, 2002 I haven't been to a show since before Summerslam, but it seems like Brock is more over then Triple H, Big Show and Kane in the Arena's.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 5, 2002 No he doesn't. I can name six people off the top of my head who were more over than him at the beginning of the mega push. Ironically, they've all been screwed with.

Guest nikowwf Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Considering Brock is so over now, doesnt it make sense to let him stay over rather than kill him dead as you say everyone else is? Booking for spite doesn't make sense. (although i get the feeling raw is booked that way sometimes) niko
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Considering Brock is so over now, doesnt it make sense to let him stay over rather than kill him dead as you say everyone else is? I think everyone was killed dead TO MAKE him the most over, so, no, I don't think it's fair to have all these guys heat ruined and not his. Especially since they aren't useless. Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted November 5, 2002 CHRIS BENOIT couldn't get a good match out of Show. And the WWE expects... BROCK LESNAR to? AS this is Vince's fault not Brock's, admit it.

I have a sneaky feeling that this bizarre double tweener turn (Angle and Benoit) was taken to eliminate any heels more over than Brock on the show. It hasn't accomplished anything else. You suffer from a case of overlooking the obvious: 1. Heyman books this show. 2. Heyman LOVES tweeners
Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Enlighten me, who did Brock's push kill dead? All the people he's faced who he sadistically sells his arse off for? Oh wait, the only major opponents he's beaten clean are Rock, Hogan and Taker. One of whom is movie-man now, the other two of whom are worthless. Brock certainly hasn't ruined anyone else's heat, and I don't think he's capable of making someone else look shit in a match, he just sells too much for people. Ah, Brock making Big Show's shitty clothesline look murderous, Brock flying off aprons from Hardy punches, Brock actually making the crowd think for a split second that Hogan's shitty old man offense could beat him, Brock smashing into the sides of the Cell like fucking Shawn Michaels...Fuck it, Lesnar rules, gimme my Benoit - Lesnar feud NOW. Guest Brian Report post Posted November 5, 2002 And that as long as both guys aren't interacting with Brock, they're safe. That's why Angle and Benoit are both being protected.

For AS to use a BIG SHOW match as his shining example of why Brock is unfit to push, is hilarious on sooooo many levels. Oh and to declare Brock isn't over, when his show gets .3/.4 higher than HHH's pretty lame. (I know Angle and Benoit are on that show too, but if ratings were tanking you'd blame Brock, not the dynamic duo.)
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2002 I can honestly say that I feel, if they keep Brock away from HHH, that either Angle or Benoit will be the first one to pin Brock or make him submit. But if HHH and Lesnar are in a match together...well, you know.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Enlighten me, who did Brock's push kill dead Why else would they take the two guys more over as a heel than brock (On SD!) and turn them into tweeners for no real reason? Angle was the most over heel in the company, and now he is getting mixed responses while getting face chants but acting like an idiot heel. It's a mess. Nothing Brock did himself, just the push. Either they did that to make Brock the most over heel, or Heyman is on something.

Either they did that to make Brock the most over heel, or Heyman is on something. 1. The Tweener turn was made by Heyman to make the feud more interesting. I think Angle/Benoit deserves more than a good guy/bad guy storyline. Maybe you feel differently. 2. Angle gets pops because people like him. Go figure. His character is one of the few things in the WWE that has been rock-solid since his debut. I think the fans want a familiar face. 3. Brock's a face now. Why turn two other guys, just to bve able to say this guy's more over as a heel (which makes NO sense) then turn him face anyway?
Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Because maybe by making them tweeners they have more interesting three-dimensional characters? Because as we have seen, tweeners can interact with a wider range of people? Anyways, your argument is laughable. If tweener status hurt anyone then it would hurt Brock the most, seeing as he's continually kept shifting into tweener status since Summerslam. This got him more over, just like Angle has been getting face eactions which allowed him to heelishly cost Benoit a match last week only to play the Eddy match as a complete face. It makes things more interesting.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Report post Posted November 5, 2002 At this point, I think I'd rather see Brock versus King Kong Bundy (is he even still alive?) than the Big Show, but whatever.
Guest Brian Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Plus by not putting them up against Brock Heyman's keeping them both protected, one for the eventual Brock/Angle showdown and two so Benoit stays a top player. Hence, why he didn't end up main eventing Survivor Series.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2002 ...I never thought on this section of the board would I see the name King Kong Bundy mentioned again. But yeah, I think that Bundy and Lesnar could be made into a good feud. Of course...Lesnar would most likely be the...what, third guy who no-sells the Avalanche (first two being Hogan and Undertaker)

Hated, but you could tell the fans WANT to cheer him. By WrestleMania, I predict a full face turn for Angle. Benoit was a tweener before the feud since he wasn't eveil, just emotionless.
