UPN To Air Pre-Survivor Series Special

Recommended Posts

Guest Mattdotcom
The show will feature a 10 man tag match with Triple H, Rosey, Jamal, Chris Jericho, and Christian taking on Kane, Booker T, RVD, Jeff Hardy, and Bubba Ray Dudley

Does this mean we'll see something like The Dudleyz 2.0 and Jeffitude Version Q against 3MW? Rico's sideburns can't carry that.

(this match was taped last night following the TV portion of RAW)

Ah, so it'll be an Empty Arena Match!

Is it only going to be those two matches and recaps, or are there going to be "highlight reels" from past Survivor Series'?

The following is from UPN.com. Note that the special will feature a 10 man tag from RAW that will have the team of Triple H, Rosey, Jamal, Chris Jericho, and Christian take on Booker T, Kane, Jeff Hardy, Bubba Ray Dudley, and RVD. Smackdown will be represented by a Triple Threat match involved Chris Benoit, Edge, and Eddie Guerrero, as well as an Interpromotional bikini contest between Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson.

UPN PRESENTS ALL-NEW MATCH-UPS FROM "WWE SMACKDOWN!" AND "MONDAY NIGHT RAW," AS SUPERSTARS BATTLE FOR POSITIONING LEADING INTO THIS MONTH'S "SURVIVOR SERIES" PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT, ON THE ONE-HOUR SPECIAL "WWE SUPER TUESDAY," TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 9:00-10:00 PM.

If it's Thursday night, it's time for WWE SMACKDOWN!, the TV show most watched by male teens on the most competitive night in television. Right from the start, WWE SMACKDOWN!, World Wrestling Entertainment's action-packed event, has delivered all-new, all-spectacular shows every Thursday evening year-round on UPN.

This unique, bigger-than-life two-hour saga has ratcheted up the drama and intensified the classic rivalries in the recent WWE draft by securing for WWE SMACKDOWN! the talents of its most famous and beloved Superstars:The Rock, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar and Edge, among many others. Together with a recurring cast of inimitable WWE brand stars, they put on a stupefying display of athleticism combined with riveting dramatic and comedic storylines.

In addition to drawing massive audiences and sold-out crowds in major arena across the country, the WWE SMACKDOWN! stars are now cultural touchstones. I have yet to read a spoiler in this thread. And it isn't much of a spoiler when seeing who is in the match you can pick the outcome of the RAW match.

They were thinking of booking Brock vs. Rey or Benoit according to the Observer.

That was for the main event, not for the special, I think.

But I thought "being protected" was like Edge and Bubba where they never look bad.

They're gonna have to work a lot harder if they want to make it so Bubba doesn't look bad.

If you're familiar with this board at all, that was a spoiler right there.

Well, unless I get it early Monday night (which would conflict with my watching RAW on the west feed) I won't be getting to see this. I would watch it at 9 if I had UPN anyway, because 24 is on..
