I figured we could have one thread dedicated to getting opinions on different bands.

 

Here's how we'll do it. List the bands you want opinions on with numbers beside them so we can keep track of which band we're talking about.

Great band, and Songs for the Deaf is one of the better albums released this year.

 

2. Audio Slave: I really can't stand Chris Cornells voice with RATM members. I miss Zach...

 

4. Hoobastank: At least it doesn't fall into Nu-Metal, Pop-punk or Garage Rock, or Emo... they are just alternative...

Queens of the Stone Age: They're okay.

 

Audioslave: Blah.

 

okgo: I saw these guys open for They Might Be Giants about a year-and-a-half ago, and I was unimpressed--particularly with their attempted rap number, performed by their helium-voiced bassist. However, I've since heard the debut album, and I like it. Nice, crunchy guitar-driven power pop.

 

Hoobastank: Blah.
