Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted November 6, 2002 First of all this is a local wrestling federation in the Niagara Region (Canada) and they have two wrestlers who went to WWE or NWA a few times. Tyson Deux is a jobber for the WWE in dark matches, and "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde was at NWA, which he fought Ace Steel a few weeks back.... History: A few people bought out the federation, and changed it to Neo Spirit Pro (which one of my friends co-owns, and I do the enterances) Now to the show. Opening match. JT Playa (Think about the casual black man off of Another Teen Movie....100x better, plus 70's style) Body Count vs Picture Perfect: History: Nothing really, Picture Perfect are a pair of homosexuals, Body Count is your basic Dudleys.... Match: BodyCount defeated the team of "Picture Perfect" Marco Malaquias and Ruffy Silverstein in this opening contest to become NEW Neo Spirit Pro Wrestling tag team champions. This match came after Marco and Ruffy issued an open challenge to anyone in the building, to which their old rival BodyCount accepted. This match was all BodyCount and was over quickly, as Kinkaid of BodyCount hit a vicious spinebuster on Marco for the victory. Afterwards, Primo Scordino and Tony Carbonie attacked BodyCount from behind and stole their titles. *1/2 Notes: Really disoriantated, and one sided, though the right team won the match. Tony Valentine comes out and says he owns 51% of the federation. He chooses Original Sin for the contendership for the Independant Championship. Cody Steele comes out and asks why doesn't he the contendership. Tony Valentine makes a match between those two. "Showtime" Eric Young comes out with Angel, and this time the same thing, Valentine quickly replies a three-way is in stored for the fans. "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde makes his way, saying he deserves a contendership since he was on NWA, and that he should get respect. Fans chant Jobber as he gets pissed off. Valentine makes a four way match for the number 1 contender for the Independant Title. Notes: It dragged on a bit too long, but a four-way match, this should be good. Lazzerus vs Custom Made Man 2. Hometown boy Lazzerus defeated the Custom Made Man. This match went back and forth from the start, until the Custom Made Man hit a frog splash and pinned Lazzerus for the three count. However, Lazzerus managed to get a foot on the ropes so senior official Robb Myers saw this after the count and restarted the match. Seconds later, Custom began verbally abusing Myers, causing Myers to shove Custom into Lazzerus who then hit a swinging sidewalk slam for the victory *** match. Notes: Great pace between the two men, and the psych was also good. Nothing wrong for a good 9 minute match. 3. Jace Fury vs Kris Chambers Jace Fury defeated Kris Chambers with a Frankensteiner. In this fast paced match between these two cruiserweights, Fury was able to overcome a serious hand injury (injury happened during match) to pull out the victory on the rookie Chambers. ** Notes: Too short. 6 minutes and change, thats it. Well I think it was suppose to go longer, but with the injury I can see why. (Injury happened when Jace went for a Stardust Press, but Chambers kicked Fury's hand instead of the chest, bending it back and breaking some bones.) Nothing wrong here. 4. "Inferno" Johnny Adams vs TJ Harley "Inferno" Johnny Adams defeated TJ Harley with an Impaler. In a match that TJ dedicated to his mentor Tornado, the crowd immediately began to chant "jobber" to the point where you could hardly hear TJ speak. Johnny Adams then hit the ring and disposed of TJ in about 7 minutes. 3/4 Notes: No pacing, timing was well off, and TJ couldn't sell worth shit. Its ashame the Johnny wasted his talent with TJ, instead of someone else. And this match was over 10 minutes. Lots of people went for beer or washroom breack. Intermission. The legendary Klopeks played (a punk band) Not good at all, but they did do a pretty good cover of Too Drunk Too Fuck. 5. Los Jalapeno vs "Suicide" Sean Ball. Los Jalapeno defeated "Suicide" Sean Ball with the Jalapeno Cutter after interference from Vaughn Valentine. This match began with a handshake as both of these crowd favorites put on a fast paced match that had both competitors trying to gain victory with many pin combinations and reversals. The end came when Valentine came to ringside and grabbed the foot of Ball while referee Matt Young was distracted. This allowed Los Jalapeno to hit the Jalapeno cutter when Ball turned around for the victory. **1/2 Notes: Very quick match, with tremendous of reversals, counters, and other impressive shit. One bad thing though, as Los Jalapeno had trouble doing a slingshot body splash. Though when you have two of the most over people in a match, the crowd gets right into it. Hell Los Jalapeno grabbed my jalapeno chips and started to eat them. 6. Tony Carbonie vs Romeo Adams. Tony Carbonie defeated Romeo Adams with a TKO. Carbonie was accompanied to the ring by his tag team partner Primo Scordino, and the pair proved to be too much for Adams in the end. After the match, BodyCount came to the ring and attacked Carbonie and Scordino - reclaiming their tag team titles in the process. *1/2 Notes: Nothing special, just like a WWE Raw match. Though what saved this match was Body Count, or this match would have been a total dud. 7. "Showtime" Eric Young vs. "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde vs. The Original Sinn vs. "Completely" Cody Steele in a 4 way to become #1 contender for the Neo Spirit Pro Independent Championship. In what many were calling the match of the night, "Completely" Cody Steele was able to gain the victory over his three opponents. This match had many spots that garnered "NSP! NSP!" chants from the crowd as these competitors put it all on the line in this one. The end came when after the referee was bumped by a reversal in the corner, Wylde hit several moves on Steele and went for the pin. The referee staggered over and made the count but it was a slow one, and Steele managed to kick out. Wylde then picked Steele up for a suplex, but while Steele was in the air, "Showtime" Eric Young hit Wylde with a superkick, causing Steele to fall on top of Wylde for the victory while The Original Sinn attacked Young. "Completely" Cody Steele is now the #1 contender for the Independent Title *********** Notes: In reality, this is the match of the night, or one of the best matches of the year. I got to see if my friend will let me upload this match, since no one should miss. Pyschology from everyone was there. Derek Wylde tagging people in when one was on the mat, then tag to the other person, once he kicks out. Derek does a corkscrew moonsault to the outside on all other people. Showtime Eric Young had Sins and Cody Steele on his shoulders, and nailing a DVD with both of them. A four way superplex. And let me tell you. When Benoit does a chop, Sins does it 50x harder. Plus he has probably one of the best signature moves with the Sins Kick which is the left leg will kick the opponent stomach, and his right foot will kick the opponent in the back of the head, making it sound really stiff. ****1/2 which the opening kinda started off bad. The match lasted for 45 minutes. 8. The Hacker (Independant Champion) vs JT Playa The Hacker defeated JT Playa to retain the Independent Championship. This match was a see-saw battle that Playa looked to be in control of until senior official Robb Myers was knocked out of commission. "Fatboy" JC Owens then brought all 400+ lbs of him to ringside and attacked JT Playa, allowing the Hacker to hit his patented finisher "The Firewall" for the victory as Myers regained consciousness **1/2 Notes: The firewall is basically the Styles Clash. This match would have been better, but the crowd was dead after the last match. Overall the show was worth *** and their next show is at the Polish Hall, Niagara Falls, Canada. Tix are worth $10 CDN, so come all... Good: Laz and CCM and the four-way match was amazing. Bad: Any involvement of tag teams. Ugly: TJ Harley Comments?
