Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Ultimo Guerrero & Rey Bucannero Inferinos - have been the Main Event on the CMLL show for the past year. The matches this team had against Santo & Negro Casas over the tag team titles have gone nearly 20 minutes everytime with spots that involved psycology, head bumps, insane topes to the outside and overall entertaining matches. In one match Ultimo Guerrero gave Negro Casas a super powerbomb that looked like the man broke his neck. In the Anniversy show Rey & Ultimo finished the match with a double team Boston Crab type move to retain the tag titles. In the recent PWI 500 magazine they are even nominated for best tag team of the year. 2002 was the year of Inferinos. Midnight Express - I prefer the Lane & Eaton team that I watched on TBS. This team was the focus of the tag team division of NWA/WCW no matter who they were fighting be it Rock & Roll Express or Arn & Tully or Road Warriors the matches were always good. This team has influence the concept of double team moves which always make me mark out. Steiner Brothers - Rick Steiner was basically nothing before he teamed with his brother Scott. True Rick was in the Varicity Club but when he teamed with his brother they became the best power team in WCW. Rick was the barking fool and Scott was the power house that could do a Hurricana! This team became tag team champions in more than one fed. Benoit & Malenko - they were key members in stables in ECW, WCW, and make an impact when they jump ship to WWF as the Radicals. During the WCW run as members of the 4 Horsemen they had quality matches against the talent they faced be it Kidman & Misterio or Jersey Triad or whoever. Von Erichs - this family was WCCW during the 80s their feud vs the Freebirds is one of the greatest feuds of all time. Dudley Boys - were orginally a joke team in ECW until D-Von team with Buh Buh to form one of the greatest heel teams of all time. They did promos before the matches that would cause near riots by the audience. Then the Dudley Boys brought their gimmick table to WWF to feud against Edge & Christian and the Hardy Boys in the TLC series of matches. Edge & Christian - the 5 Second Pose and their promos with Mick Foley totally reek of awesomeness. Hart Foundation - Brett & Jim was the premier tag team of WWF during the 80s and in the 90s the stable vs America and Austin is what kept me interested in WWF at the time. Harlem Heat - Booker T & Stevie Ray won the WCW tag team titles more than anybody else in the company and fought to the Outsiders during the nWo era. Innovators of the Breath Rite band aid on the nose.....in team color non-the-less. Road Warriors - Hawk & Animal had their glory days in WCW and in Japan, did ok in WWF during the 1st run. The top rope lariat double team move was one of the best finishers ever. Was one of the best power teams during the 80s, Hawk had the catch phrase Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat A Rush that always got a pop from the crowd. Raven & Kanyon - this team had great double team moves that were innovating at the time.....whether it was stolen from Nova or not it still looked good. Probably most known for breaking the neck of Villino 4 and PPV matches in WCW.
