Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted November 6, 2002 What matches are there going to be? I mean, I can come up with about four.. Elimination Chamber Brock/Show Trish/Victoria Smackdown Tag Match What else is going down? Maybe a random Raw tag match with the Island Boyz against Bubba & Spike? Another random Smackdown women match? Can someone enlighten me?

I mean, I don't even know all of the matches yet, and the ones that are getting promoted suck. Seriously, are there even any more feuds that could lead to a match? Isn't Survivor Series suppose to be one of the top 4 PPV's?
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Relax, guy! There's still a WHOLE week to go. You know how they like to throw things together in the last week with minimal build-up.

Guest The Superstar Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Yeah, last year the only match being promoted was the Winner Take All thingamajig. They didn't even announce the all-important Unification bouts until the Raw before. Wait...I didn't waste Post #3000 on that. TELL ME I didn't waste post 3000 on criticizing WWE... Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Wow...I really miss the old days, when there were only 4 PPVs a year and they could literally build anticipation for a PPV card for MONTHS beforehand. I hate the way it is now, with stuff getting thrown together at the last minute. I mean, isn't Survivor Series supposed to be one of the BIG PPVs? Oh yeah, I forgot...there's no such thing as a big PPV anymore. They're all just episodes of RAW/SmackDown! that happen to cost $34.95. My bad.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Yeah, and it'll be worse for Armageddon next month. Don't they usually have December PPVs early in the month to give wrestlers holiday time off?
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Angle & Benoit'll probably have a tag match against either Rey/Edge or the Guerreros...or maybe a three-way. My guess is that, with the increasing tensions between the two, they drop the belts here and blow off their feud at Armageddon, with some roll-over leading into Royal Rumble. Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Hey, maybe Jamie Knoble will defend the CW Belt in an awesome 10 minute match. ::wakes up from dream::

Guest ISportsFan Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Well, if anything, there was an article at PWTorch.com that actually made sense. Heyman's giving us the crap Vince wants on top, but if you sit through it, you get to see an AWESOME possible MOTY with our wrestling Trinity in a tag match. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Hey, maybe Jamie Knoble will defend the CW Belt in an awesome 10 minute match. ::wakes up from dream:: Yeah, it's sad. Ever since the Hurricane/Noble match at King of the Ring, the Cruiserweight Championship is nothing more than a novelty. We need a WCW-esque Cruiserweight Division
Guest Brian Report post Posted November 6, 2002 I figure, Benoit turns on Angle eventually, Angle wins Rumble, and Angle wins the blowoff at No Way Out for the contendership.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2002 I figure, Benoit turns on Angle eventually, Angle wins Rumble, and Angle wins the blowoff at No Way Out for the contendership. That would be great to see, in my opinion. The question is, will WWE be smart enough to give that to the fans, or just say "Eh, fuck that."
Guest Invader3k Report post Posted November 6, 2002 There probably won't be all that many matches on the card, since the main event will probably take up close to an hour, given the gimmick involved.

Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Isn't Survivor Series suppose to be one of the top 4 PPV's Newsflash: Survivor Series ALWAYS sucks. Agreed, not since 1996 has the event meant anything worthwhile, discarding the screwjob of course, which did not make up for a shitty undercard anyway. This year shan't be different my little Illusion-ites, This chamber thing they're screwing with seems to be the only interesting aspect of the show, and with Triple H in there, you can bet on it being politically fucked up somehow. Fuck Vince Fuck WWE Fuck Survivor Series FUCK Big Show Damn, did i need to vent or what? Illusion - STILL waiting for Chinese Democracy
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted November 6, 2002 So far, here are the matches that have been announced: Elimination Chamber World Championship Triple H© vs. Kane vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Shawn Micheals vs. Booker T vs. Chris Jericho WWE Championship Brock Lesnar© vs. Big Show Hardcore Match Women's Championship Trish Stratus© vs. Victoria Now, here are the matches that I think will be added: Triple Threat Tag Team Match WWE Tag Team Championship Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit© vs. Edge & Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero Cruiserweight Championship Jamie Noble© vs. Tajiri That's really all I can think of. The Elimination Chamber will probably take close to an hour, so there probably won't be many other matches, considering that will be the main event. I just noticed, this will be the first Survivor Series that I can think of that there won't be a traditional Survivor Series match.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2002 I just noticed, this will be the first Survivor Series that I can think of that there won't be a traditional Survivor Series match. Survivor Series 1998. The WWF Title Tournament took up most of the PPV. Hence, no Survivor Series style match on that show.
Guest Aero Report post Posted November 6, 2002 It would suck if there were no Elimination Tag matches. But, here's how I would book the PPV... Elimination Chamber- HHH vs. Kane vs. Booker T vs. RVD vs. Chris Jericho vs. HBK WWE Title- Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show Women's Title: Hardcore Rules- Trish vs. Victoria Survivor Series Elimination Match: Smackdown- Kurt Angle, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, & Rikishi vs. Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Chavo, John Cena, & Matt Hardy (Considering Benoit never attacked Eddie last week on SD) Survivor Series Elimination Match: Raw- Bubba Ray, Spike, Jeff Hardy, D'Lo Brown, & Goldust vs. Rosey, Jamal, Rico, Christian, & Test Survivor Series Elimination Match: Raw- Al Snow, Tommy Dreamer, Maven, The Hurricane, & Johnny Stamboli vs. Ric Flair, Christopher Nowinski, Lance Storm, William Regal, & Batista
