Guest bravesfan Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Well, for starters, the Jets are WAY TOO FUC---hey, Niners at No. 3. Keep up the good work.
Guest midnight_burn Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Yay Titans. They suck, but lucky for them Jacksonville, Indy and Houston suck more, most likely handing Tennessee the 4th seed in the AFC. There's no chance the Titans are making it out of the first round of the playoffs though.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 12. Dolphins (5-3) Lead the AFC East still...but that won't last. Let me get this straight...there's someone BELOW Ray Lucas on the depth chart? And he might play this week? Ouch. Feel my pain.
Guest phoenixrising Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Agree with your comments on the Jags...before the season started I thought they would be lucky to finish ahead of Houston...then they beat the Eagles and I was thinking hey they might have something here...and then they remembered they were rebuilding and had to suck. Going to be hard for them to win the division since they're 0-3 within it, they'd have to win their last eight, and I just don't see them doing it. If it wasn't for their crappy division record I'd say their chances were still very good of getting a playoff spot...and on the positive side it's not like Indianapolis or Tennessee are super teams, but to make the playoffs the Jags have to win their remaining three division games, and hope that both Indy and Tennessee go into slides while the Jags keep winning.
Guest MD2020 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Agree with your ranking of my Eagles. We did struggle and it was closer than it should have been, post-MNF or not. I want more blowouts like earlier in the season. Hopefully we can light up Indy. Almost everything else was fine, but the Bucs at #4? As The Wolf said, and I'm paraphrasing, "Let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet." Yeah, the destroyed the Vikings. But it was the Vikings. Can they do it against a good defense. Then I'll believe.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I gave Tampa the big bump mainly out of spite against Rob Johsnson. Plus...7 wins is 7 wins.
Guest Kingpk Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I gave Tampa the big bump mainly out of spite against Rob Johsnson. Plus...7 wins is 7 wins. They'll choke in the Wild Card as always. It's both funny and sad that we might have a division winner with an 8-8 record.
Guest redbaron51 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 why is Oakland so high if they lost 4 straight?
Guest Bricks Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I don't agree with your Seahawks ranking. As someone who always gets their games due to regional coverage, I can honestly say they suck even more than what you have them at. They're close to Bengal level.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Tampa needs to play for Home Field advantage so that they dont get the Under 40 curse in the playoffs again...Of course they get homefield advantage and it will probably be the coldest winter in florida.. The Redskins are too low at #19. Of the teams at 4-4 or worse, I'd have them above the Giants, Raiders (who have lost 4 straight games..), Titans (Because they beat the Titans..) and Browns..
Guest D'Lo White Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 You gave the Jets a nice little bump up, Good Job! Being ahead of the Texans and Lions sure makes me proud to be a Jets fan.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 On the bright side - The Jets are going to beat the Dolphins this weekend, and that will put them right back in the AFC East chase.
Guest D'Lo White Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 They would be back in it, but they still have to play Denver, Green Bay, at NE, and at Oakland. I can't see them winning any of those and that would put them at 7-9. Losing that game to the Browns was a killer.
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Look who the Bucs have beat. You reading? Reading? I think the Falcons are the best team they've faced all year, and now that their offense is starting to click a little better, the Dirty Birds are most likely to win Round 2. Remember, boys and girls: Just because you can beat up on the Vikings DOESN'T make you a good team. Chargers have an absolutely brutal schedule left, and the division appears to be the Broncos for the taking. Steelers are most likely to get home-field, just looking at their schedule. They have the Dirties and Bucs left with winning records. They'll lose at home in the playoffs in all likelihood. J-E-T-S aren't going to win on Sunday, though I'm not even considering turning it off anytime in the second half. If the Dolphin D plays tough and they can't get ahead, we'll just give em a big ol' dose of Ricky like the first game and that'll be that. Chargers lost because they got behind too early and Marty-Ball couldn't be put into full effect. Right now, my AFC playoff spots are going to Phins, Pats, Steelers, Broncos, Chargers and a team from the AFC South, hopefully the Texans just for shits and kicks. at 2 and 6, they're only TWO games back in their division. Not a fantastic weekend of football coming up, but with playoff and divisional races starting to heat up as we head into the second half of the season, all the games for those "Contenders" become that much more important.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Well... The Miami D is going to allow 23 points or so. So Sage has to beat that.
Guest Leena Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Blame your pathetic coaches, Williams & Gray for allowing the "Brady bomb", and the entire coaching staff for getting bitch slapped by Belichick in every single way. Now, to complain about the rankings... The Steelers should definitely be ahead of San Diego at #7. I think you should have been looking at them seriously after they dominated Indy. Pittsburgh has the best O and D line in the AFC, and can run on anyone. Steelers have an extremely easy schedule... and could have home field. Eagles should be at #4 ahead of Tampa, simply because they beat them... and Tampa and NO haven't been destroying people either. #11 is too high for the Bills. Their defense is a joke. Kansas City could score 50 on them next game. #15 is a little high for the Giants. The Titans, Browns, Rams and Redskins are more complete teams that have a chance to go somewhere without injuries.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 "#11 is too high for the Bills. Their defense is a joke. Kansas City could score 50 on them next game." The odds are just as good that the KC D will allow 51.
