Guest Suicide King Report post Posted November 6, 2002 If you're reading this, I'll make the wild assumption that not only are you a wrestling fan, but you're interested in creating wrestlers and seeing what you can do with them, maybe even in running your very own storylines! Cool. Yes, I'm here to promote the Smarks Wrestling Federation, which resides at the bottom of these boards. We recently kicked off our third year with Genesis III, our top show of the year. You're probably thinking, "Geez, not another e-fed. I can't STAND those things. It's not realistic at all; people trash the other wrestlers, and besides, when's the last time a guy got the World Title just because he was good on the stick?" Well, that's some attitude you've got there, buster. Besides, that's not the way the SWF works. We're not just another roleplaying e-fed. In fact, most of our wrestlers cut infrequent promos, if they do them at all. Instead of the RP route, we book the card about four days in advance, and we ask you to write your wrestler's version of the match. You have stats for each wrestler to work with, and you write the match using our two illustrious SJL commentators, Axis (knowledgeable, sullen and straight down the middle) and the Suicide King (a vain, pompous heel who won the SWF World Championship and won't EVER let you forget it). You write the match move-by-move, incorporating whatever storylines and psychology are appropriate, and then send it to your neutral marker. The markers are all guys who have written for the SWF, and they're some of the best writers we've ever had. You control not only the match, but every aspect of your character, as well. You make the stats, you name him, pick his entrance music, pick his moves and determine how he acts. You have complete creative control. The writers make up their angles and put them in motion. No one will ever force you into an angle you don't want to do or ruin your character, because YOU write all the matches and promos! If this sounds good to you, hop on down to the bottom of the boards and take a look at our Smarks Junior League. There, you can see how people write promos and matches, and get an idea of what to put in your stats. Then, you're ready to go! Join today and you can be booked on the very next show! "The Superior One" Tom Flesher Current IC/TV Champ Thank Tom. This is the Suicide King, one of the afore-mentioned commentators and one of the guys who helps run the Smarks Wrestling Federation and Smark Junior League. We've been here for half a year now and tried to keep the spam advertising down to a minimum. The great thing about our fed, other than the people you'll meet, are the storylines and characters you'll create with these same people. Will you make an unstoppable hoss like the Hville Thugg? A mat technician like "The Franchise" Mak Francis? Maybe the best and brightest of the luchador tradition like our own heavyweight champ (no I didn't misstype that) El Luchador Magnifico? Want to tag wrestle like our own Bemani Cross Wizards? Will you be a face like Edwin MacPhisto or a despicable heel like me? Every choice is up to you. Stories, tag teams, stables... heck the commissioners don't even show up in story unless you want them to!!! In any event, we hope to see some of you. It's loads of fun and we would love to have you! Oh, and please keep the hate flame to a minimum. I promise I'll only respond if there are any questions to be answered. Otherwise I refer you to the Smarks Wrestling Federation down below!! Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Report post Posted November 6, 2002 You DID mistype that. It's luchadorE! Um, join the E-Fed. It's fun. Why else would I stick around for upwards of two years?

Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Your local neighbour hood move smark enjoys and supports the fed. This has been a shameless plug.
Guest AnnieEclectic Report post Posted November 7, 2002 I too will pimp this out.... As the only current active woman in the ranks, I call out to my fellow women wrestling fans who like to write, please join. There's no 'women' division, you go after the same belts the boys do. No woman has made it to the top two belts yet, but dammit, we can do it! WE CAN DO IT! FIGHT FOR WOMEN'S RIGHTS! JOIN THE SWF! .... -Annie
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Report post Posted November 7, 2002 Well, if you wanna get technical, a woman writer HAS won the World Title. Unfortunately, she was G.O.A.T at the time...
